The office support, movers and truck driver were all exceptional and took great care with my property. The only reason I didn’t rate 5 Stars is that the original estimate of pounds to move was really low, even after an in home visit, and that caused the price to go up considerably. I don’t mind paying a fair price but I would have liked a more accurate estimate so I was prepared for the increased cost.

We really appreciate it and have had a great experience in this move! Thank you, Rachel for fitting us into the schedule quickly so we were not in limbo with the kids too long! Jesus was a dream to work with!!!! He went over and above from start in Las Vegas, NV to finish here in Lexington, Ky. You all have a jewel in him. Jesus is kind, personable, and will bend over backwards to make sure a family of four has what they need and when they need it. We truly enjoyed all interactions with him and cannot thank him enough! Everyone we came across from you scheduling, Jesus and both teams in each city, and the car haulers pickup to delivery was exceptional! Thank you all again.

Showed up on time for original packing and for loading the truck/trailer. Philo, the driver and his help also showed up on time, did some extra packing and finish loading in short time.The delivery in Florida at our place was flawless and the remaining items taken to storage as requested was done in short time.Cannot say enough about Philo. He was friendly, efficient and professional throughout the entire move.With all the nightmare reviews we've read, we can only say how great Rose was in taking care of us in our anxiety. Great job and recommend Rose Moving 100%. Thank you.

ROSE moving company and Judy and Jim exceeded our expectations. We had been waiting 3 years to move some of our belongings (including 2 pianos and an elliptical machine) to another state. We had a bad experience with another company and had to cancel that arrangement and forfeit a large deposit. This time there were only good surprises. There were minimal changes in fees ($74 due to a minor clerical error) and no last minute challenges or complaints regarding weight. Judy and Jim were friendly and kind and expected nothing up front just as our contract specified. The Allied driver Sabet and his helpers were friendly and good-natured, especially considering it was two days before Christmas during an epic national storm and very cold. And the pianos and desks and elliptical are all ok!

I usually don’t do many reviews, but I felt that I should share my experience with Rose moving. We had Jim estimate the move from Michigan to Florida. He spent almost two hours going through every room in my house. He estimated 22,000 pounds which turned out to be 32,000 pounds, so he was off by more than 10%. This error on his part costed us an extra $6,000 dollars. The estimate was before my son’s room and items were removed when my son decided not to move. Jim said it would be a day and a half to pack the truck for us. On the second day around lunch time the movers said that they wouldn’t be able to finish that day and didn’t expect a one and half day move. Jim came by the house and got more movers to come with another truck for them to pack up and finish the second day. There was an extra charge for over $500 for a smaller shuttle truck. So, I asked about raising the insurance deductible to offset that unexpected cost. I didn’t find out until later upon seeing the detailed bill (that was back dated) that Judy, the office person, raised the value of the insurance items when the deductible was raised, so the net effective of the cost didn’t change. I attempted to get that corrected along with items that Jim said I wouldn’t be charged for after I paid, but they did not even attempt to be honest about that and passed my request for the correction to someone else in the office that didn’t reach out to me. The things that Jim said did not collaborate with the movers which ending up costing us extra. In the end, I would not trust Rose Mover’s again even though my belongings made it to Florida. The moving team did replace one item (my desk) that was broken promptly.

Rose Moving and Storage coordinated a move between states with Allied moving. They packed my house of 22 years and stored it until I had a house new the new state. I'm80% unpacked and I have found nothing broken or missing. The crew that did the packing was good. They were flexible as my dates changed multiple times. It was a little more expensive that I originally figured it would be but I'm happy I used this company.

Delivery took 2 weeks and several things were melted from the heat of truck for a long period time or broken. Sadly the movers complained about taking things up a flight of Stairs and eventually ignored us and placed things in garage despite our plea. I was excited to use this service and support a women owned business. Sadly it just disappointed us in the end.

We moved with Rose Moving and Storage/Allied. We have moved quite a lot and let me tell you this was by far the WORST moving experience we have ever had. Our things were moved from one truck to another, things were broken, and they didn't deliver our things on time so we had to try to move around our schedules after starting brand new jobs because if we couldn't we would be charged a holding fee and the delivery would be postponed even more and at the movers discretion...excuse me? This was your fault that it's late! They lied to us, and complained about stairs...aren't you a moving company? Don't take on a job that you can't do. They then filled out a form saying we would get reimbursed $1300 and then we only got $300 and said oh sorry it was a mistake. You should stand by your word even if it is a mistake. I tried to reach out to Allied customer service and they were ZERO help, just "we apologize for that but we are only going to give you $300 and you need original receipts"...I'm sorry you broke our things and they were antiques and gifts. Other moving companies reimburse for what it is worth to replace them and they don't ask for original receipts. They are terrible!! Don't use them! It will be frustrating, expensive, and at the end of the day not worth it. Not a company who has any moral compass or standards. Lying, bad quality work, poor experience, and empty apologies is not what makes a business good or even okay.

Absolute mess from start to finish. I was charged for 2 days of packing even though I informed Judy from the beginning that I packed majority of the items myself. The packers shoved one or two things into large boxes and a ton of paper. They took my labeled boxes and put them together into large boxes without any organization. Judy told me the delivery would take 3 days and the driver said next day. Thank God my husband was there, since it's 5 hours away. Judy failed to inform the driver that I made all the payments so my husband had to make an additional DUPLICATE payment when the truck arrived. I've reached out to Judy THREE times, no response. The crew that was there to unpack did not speak English. A third of the items are in the wrong room and we have to move them ourselves. The house we moved out of has a huge dent in the wall. Parts of shelves were broken and packed into boxes. No one informed of any damage.
