Vinsetta Garage, you had me at cheese burger pizza. SO GOOOOOOOD. Loved the atmosphere. First came here on a dinner date. There was a house DJ. It was loud, fun and the food was ahhhhmazing! We ordered the deep fried cheese curds, and the Vinsetta burger pie (cheese burger pizza). For dessert we enjoyed the faygo rock n rye ice cream, topped with POP ROCKS. Hello nostalgia. I absolutely love this place and plan on going back!

What a great place to eat! Despite the interesting and rich history, the food is delicious. They have a big variety of beer. Cool & modern interior and very helpful and friendly staff. You’ll probably see some hot cars parked outside. The burgers are great! I loved the lamb burger. And the mac & cheese with ham was definitely the best mac & cheese all of us have ever had.

When you have anyone from out of town visiting vinsetta is a place you must take them. The old auto repair garage theme is awesome! Be prepared to wait for a table on a Friday or Saturday. We usually like to eat a late lunch or early dinner to avoid waiting too long with our kids. I also like that the restaurant is super kid friendly- my toddler won't be bugging anyone while we eat. Our favorites are the 3am and vinsetta burger. We also love the Mac and cheese!

Great place to eat. The ambiance and decor is really cool. I had the salmon for dinner. I had wings and deep fried chili dog for appetizer and both were yummy. My friend had coffee served in a drinking glass that was different and cool. Definitely will be back.

The atmosphere here gives a perfect Motor City vibe and it's coupled with delicious food! Their burgers and mac and cheese are my favorite but pizzas are also great. The beer selection is also very good.

Awesome food and awesome service. There's a complimentary valet that is really great as well. Our server was Chris, and he was extremely knowledgeable and flexible since we had some dietary restrictions with our order. We'll definitely be back!

If you're looking to get a great burger! I mean not just beef but other ground meat, poultry and what not as well! Check out this place! Cool automotive show exterior and a "play" on the inside.

Best burger!! We arrived a little before the dinner rush, we were seated right away at a high top. Parking is a pain, but the burger made up for it. Get whatever pink sauce they offer with the fries, I could eat that on cardboard. I got the EV1 burger and subbed the patty for a beef patty, sooooo good, cooked to perfection. The 3am burger was a little spicy but also amazing.

The setting is neat-does look like a garage from the 40s-the staff was very nice and friendly—-BUT VERY SLOW. It took over an hour to get food-3 burgers and 2 pastas. My kids got their pops immediately, but it took 25 minutes for my bottle of beer to get to me. . . Prices are a bit high for what it is- my burger was good, but honestly it was a fancy “Five Guys” burger for 15 bucks, add fries for another 4 dollars. Their house chips that came with it are good.. . Overall its a decent place, but I wouldnt wait for a table. There are plenty of better places with better food, quicker services, and better prices.

Man I was so pissed. SO PISSED. I rarely want something so bad that I think about it for days and days and days. For the most part, I am cool with finding something on the menu in the moment but it was my birthday and I knew that my kids would actually be excited to go out to eat with us if we were going to Vinsetta Garage. It was a Tuesday night and despite being so hungry, we were even ok with waiting because there was a cool little igloo outside where we could have a beverage and a chat while we waited. So we hung out, put some pics on Snap and eventually we were called for our table. The server greets us and because we are starving, I requested that in which I have craved for days. The taste that had haunted me since the last birthday I celebrated at Vinsetta Garage, 2 years ago. Ghost Pepper Wings! 1 order, please! Denied. Just sold out. On my birthday... heart breaking into a million pieces, I look at my 18 year old son who has come out with me on my birthday, not to make me happy, but for some ghost pepper wings on his parent's tab and I see his heart shatter into a million pieces and there we sat like deflated balloons, staring at a menu trying to find something to fill the a void that can't really be filled. I ordered a steak with a coffee rub. The server proclaimed that I was getting the last one as if to make up for the last order of wings being sold out from under me... Not his fault, I know. Mental note - don't order steak anywhere but a steakhouse. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing. I think my husband was happy with his food, but then again, he hasn't had the wings before. My daughter was coming down with something so she took about 2 bites of her mac and cheese before giving up and my son had the Macon bacon burger that was good but "not as ghost pepper wings". (He was going to share my appetizer and then get another order of wings for his meal). The Rock 'n Rye ice cream was legit per usual, gotta love the pop rocks, as was the vanilla ice cream. The stuff is good. I don't know that Vinsetta Garage deserve 3 stars overall, all the time, but this visit was really disappointing. Being that it was my birthday and I made kind of a big deal about them not having the wings, I kind of felt like the server didn't really care as much as he could have. This is the kind of restaurant that seems like it has the ability to go above and beyond for their customers, but they also really have a strong following so maybe they don't really feel like they have to go above and beyond because someone will come along and take my place? All I know is I was super excited for those wings and I was really, really bummed out when I couldn't have them. Having not gotten my fix, I am sure I will be back. Not to mention that my son didn't get his fix either so there is a chance I can pursued him to hang out with his dear old mom in exchange for some wings. But I'm gonna call first.

This place was packed but surprisingly we didn't have to wait, lucky us right? I went with my cousin and a friend on a Sunday afternoon. (Can I just mention we had free valet parking? SCORE! Otherwise parking would have been a nightmare lemme tell you.) The environment was really cute, it really does look funky in here, an actual garage with a vintage feel! Our waitress was lovely, wish I could remember her name. Anyway, it was a bit loud in here but I didn't mind at all. The waitress brought us water and a cute little water pitcher. My cousin ordered their breadsticks for the table and they were quite tasty, along with the sauce they brought out with it. I really should have tried a burger since this was my first time here but went with a grilled chicken sandwich with toasty bun (they ask if you want a sesame seed bun or pretzel), LTO, a special sauce, lettuce, tomato. Also ordered a side of onion rings. The sandwich was delish! The chicken breast was huge and juicy, yum! I enjoyed it but the onion rings in my opinion were meh, they were definitely greasy and while some were crunchy, others were soggy. Wouldn't order those again. My friend enjoyed her pasta but wasn't happy with the small amount of cheese they put on top, when we asked could she have a bit more, they said she'd have to pay for it. Which leads me to the price. I had a chicken sandwich, onion rings and a coke, which was $20.83. Quite pricey! Next time I'd like to try the burger and a pizza.

Delicious and did a great job of maintaining key elements of the garage while nailing the decor. Bit pricey but left stuffed and everybody enjoyed every bite.

No matter what kind of diet I maybe following, sooner or later I give into the craving of the skillet cinnamon crusted chocolate pie Vinsetta has to offer. Although they have a lot of delicious entrees for guests as well as drinks I come here specifically to enjoy the rich chocolate filled dessert that I would recommend you share with another. It's topped with some vanilla ice cream and served piping hot so be careful not to burn your tongue and let it cool down for a few minutes first. The staff is nice and servers do a great job here. There's a bubble dome you can sit in but you cannot eat in there. It's always fun to come by during the summer to see the unique cars that seem to attract to this once garage converted restaurant.

One of my favorites. Always will be. I hate the parking but I love the food. The fries...ugh. I want to eat them every day. Everything I have ate from here has been great. Such a cute spot as well. Can't go wrong with this place.

They have wonderful food and a great ambiance. However, this restaurant does not allow for reservations or any type of call ahead. Unless you are planning to come to eat at VG at old people dinner time or another odd time, be prepared to wait. I had to wait over an hour.

First time at Vinsetta Garage and it was Awesome! Atmosphere is so fun! Ford was excellant and our waitress was the best! They have a huge menu with something for everyone even vegans! Valet parking made it super convenient and even though we had a big group (9) our wait wasn't bad at all! I had the mac and cheese. It was too dire for! My husband had a pasta bowl and it was very, very good too! Make sure you save room for a scoop rock n rye ice cream! Yummy! Thanks Vinsetta Garage for an extraordinary experience! We will be back!

This place is amazing. It's relaxed great atmosphere. I've been to a couple of other places that have a similar feel. But the burger that I had here was amazing! The service was wonderful compliments our wait staff

I will say Vinseetta Garage is a nice place to go and have a quality bite to eat. It's a chill causal spot and they play games on the tv near the bar. I will say they are busy, every time I've been there it's a packed house. There can be a wait, but not that long of wait. Also they don't take reservations, so if you're a bigger party take that in mind. Let's jump into the food. I usually get the turkey burger on a *Gluten free* bun. Yes, they have gluten free menu! I believe they have gluten free Mac and cheese as well! Anyways the the turkey burger is really good! It has a jalapeño relish on it, which is delish. The house salad I ordered on the side was kinda lack luster. The dressing was very bland. Last time I ordered the the turkey burger I ordered the coleslaw, which is delicious and I highly recommend! Their cocktails are yummy aswell!

If you are looking for a fun place to eat out with a great environment come here! The environment is so unique and was remodeled from an old auto shop! They don't take reservations and the wait can be long..but just go to the bar for a great cocktail. We started with a couple rounds of drinks off their specialty cocktail list. All were very good. Although the drink with gin..can't remember the name was the best! For dinner, I started with the French onion soup which was to die for. For entrees, I got the salmon and friends for the 3am burger and one of the pasta bowls and we all got a side of mac and cheese. Everything was good especially the Mac. Definitely a very cheesy dinner..but not complaining! I'll be back.

Very good! I have been a couple of times, and between their pizza, pasta, or burgers: stick with pasta or burgers Pizza was yummy, just nothing special. Drinks are all $10+ but the Dyno is well worth it

What a retro place. Great food especially the fries. I have a thing for good fries. So if your looking for a good stiff drink and hot crispy fries. You need to check out Vinsetta. By the way there burger was great too.

Old service station converted to classic American style diner. Food and service were pretty standard for an establishment like this. Would definitely take the family here again

What a blast! We ordered a pizza and it was fantastic. They have a great selection of beers and drinks. The wait staff was very attentive but not overbearing. Will definitely come back again it is an awesome spot.

Always a good time here. Food is delicious, drinks are great. I got their stuffed peppers and it was delicious. My friends opted for pizza, pasta and burgers. They were also very happy with their food

I love this place. Converted old repair shop located in Detroit's Historic Woodward Ave M1. Very unique and creative menu items and craft cocktails. They have done a great job retaining the history of one of the oldest auto repair shops in the country. The burgers are amazing as are the pizzas, but they are known for their Mac n Cheese. It is out of this world! Stop in, grab a craft cocktail, and enjoy. And for god's sake get the Mac n Cheese!

Amazing!!! Not only is the food amazing but the ambiance is wonderful!! Vinsetta Garage is just that, a garage that has been refurbished as a restaurant but kept the theme of the garage. Our waitress, Kaitlyn, was fabulous and her recommendations were right on! Definitely a wonderful restaurant to visit and eat.

Well I must say I was disappointed with my first visit. After hearing everyone bragging about the Mac n cheese. I wasn’t at all impressed not only by the high price of mac n cheese but the taste wasn’t all that. My own children have been and said it was much better in the past. And also the dust particles falling from the ceiling over by the pizza oven. I looked up and it was caked on up there. The service was ok. I’ll try the wood shop next time maybe have better experience. I would just think this location would be on point more.

Heard about it and saw it on Food Network. It is busy but we only waited about 5 mins on Thursday night. The drinks were ok, standard offering with not much that stands out. We went for salads and pizza as a group hut there is a a bunch of other stuff on menu. You won't leave disappointed but I didn't necessarily feel the urge to post a 5 star and rush back I will try again, but there are SO Many different options in area that it is a check the box place and maybe not a every couple weeks destination.

The chips and dip here are absolutely amazing. This is one of the coolest restaurants I have ever been to. I absolutely love coming here with friends because as broke college students we can actually afford a nice meal to split with the pizza or apps. Staff is awesome also!
