Went there Thursday with my wife and another couple and as soon as we sat down our waitress Marlena was at our table ready to take a drink order. The entire experience was great, the food and appetizers were delicious. (Cheese Curds, wings, Shop Towel, Mac, Chopped Salad were all great and Marlena never passed our table by without checking in to see if we needed another drink or anything else. Great atmosphere and as a person who sometimes has a hard time hearing in restaurants this place was great with its high ceiling. Also love the soft warm lights everywhere.

Love this place - everything is good. The hand cut fries are outstanding - definitely upgrade for that with any sandwich. The breakfast burger and the vinsetta burger are real winners - like soooo good. And you can do a pretzel bun! What? Upgrade! The chili verde was delicious with tender pork shoulder and the wings are finger lickin' good! Plus they have a bleu cheese/ranch blend which i didn't know was my favorite until now. The draft beer selection is weak though - I think they should always have an IPA or pale ale on draft, like a local beer or something interesting - not bells two hearted. Otherwise its usually a lager, a cider (sweater weather is really tasty and a dry cider though! Love it), a couple gose, a sweet sour and like PBR. Anyways, just not exciting draft menu....granted i dont see their sales, maybe thats what people want? The servers have always been nice and always get our order correct while trying to make our time there pleasant! Most days you can just walk in but I would say you should make a reservation on a Saturday evening or you will wait awhile. And they are great with kids there!

We were in Royal Oak today and decided to try this out for lunch. The location is right off Woodward and the parking is a little tight, so definitely something to note for peak hours. The place is an old garage made into restaurant and it's very great atmosphere inside. My husband and I decided on the burgers. He did the Macon bacon burger, while I did the standard Vinsetta burger. Portions are very big. Come hungry. I like that the burgers were cooked well and flavorful. I had the fries, and my husband did the union mac, instead of chips. Both sides were great substitutions, but note they are an upcharge. Prices are a little higher but the portions definitely make it worth it. Next time I'd love to try the pizzas, and maybe not be so hungry that I forget to take pics of my food! All and all a good visit and very filling.

Foods good. But ALWAYS busy and pricey for what it is. Waitress aren't the best, and getting back to the bathroom can be quite a task because of how many tables they pack in.

This is such a fun spot. The food and service never disappoint. The cheese curd app is the best. Flavorful cheese curds (aka squeaky cheese!) in a light batter, fried up and served with a house made Red Hot bleu cheese. This dip is more like "good ranch" with some bleu cheese and Red Hot. Not super spicy, but enough to give it a good kick. Even if you are not a bleu cheese fan (ME), try it! The Mac and Cheese is so good but the serving is massive. You can easily share this. On the last visit my brother and I split the side order portion and it was still enough for each of us to have a good serving without ruining the rest of our meal. Last visit we shared the Vinsetta Blanco pizza. SO good. Everything on the pizza went together so well.

Never coming back. This place served its purpose back in the day but it's pointless to come here now with with all the other, much better, options out there. Started out with a fly in my beer. Appetizer never arrived. Homemade chips were cold and rubbery. They are happy to upcharge you for a salad without telling you it's an additional $5. And the Cesar salad wias drenched in dressing, making it inedible. Couldn't eat eat it but still had to pay for it. This place is a joke. A bad joke.

What a place! The interior is most definitely a garage. I love the aesthetic! Super cool, big open spaces. Awesome. The service has always been great here. It feels like they get treated well and don't hate their jobs; kind of a foreign concept, no? Seriously, we've always been treated well here and the service is exceptional. The food is also exceptional. The cheese curd appetizer is probably one of the best I've ever had with a light and airy batter, perfectly fried with and the curd itself is just so flavorful. Big recommendation on the mac and cheese. It actually has flavor and the noodles aren't cooked to mush. The dinner sized order is worth every penny, but the portion is HUGE. You'll probably take it home and eat leftovers for the next two days. No joke. The burger is a contender for my top 5 in the area. A really nice blend, and cooked to a medium well. Really flavorful beef. I had the Vinsetta burger which is kind of like their version of a Big Mac w/ bacon. It is a big burger, especially when you add all of the toppings, but it was manageable and didn't fall apart or get sloppy. Get the seeded bun. Also, HUGE bonus for having hand cut fries that are crispy. Well done Vinsetta! You understand potatonomics. The pizzas all looked good and we had a Vinsetta blanco pie. The crust was light and airy with a good crisp to it and not much flop. Really well baked in their awesome looking pizza oven. No complaints. Make a reservation or you will most likely wait at any time of the day. If you do end up waiting, it's totally worth it. One of my favorite spots in the area, hands down!

Unique atmosphere & cool small business. I recommend making reservations if you're going for dinner, but I hear lunch is easier to get into. The service was great & they were busy. They have a good drink menu and decent food menu. The burgers were good & cooked perfectly, but when I go back I want to try the pizza and mac & cheese. The tikka fries are delicious and super filling!! Burgers come with choice of sesame or pretzel bun. :)

I recently dined at Vinsetta Garage in Detroit and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with a unique automotive theme that added to the charm of the restaurant. The menu offered a variety of delicious options, and I particularly enjoyed the burgers and craft cocktails. The service was top-notch and all of the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Vinsetta Garage and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty meal and a fun atmosphere.

The last time I ate here was back in 2013 but I cannot review that experience, since it was so long ago. My friends and I ended eating here last night (Saturday evening). There was a 45-minutes wait since it was busy-busy but we waited in our car and chatted, which went by quickly. Once our table was ready, they texted my friend to let her know our table was ready. The service was great and the place is pretty clean. Appetizer, we had the Disco Fries. They were good, the gravy was rich but not overbearing (too much). I did not care much for Ellsworth cheese curds, it didn't do much to the dish and felt like I was eating rubber.. Meal, I had the EV1 (Vegetarian burger, they can make it vegan upon request). I really enjoyed the burger, everything was propionate but the burger can get messy. I do like the side of chips, which they had a lemony taste...maybe it was vinegar - lol. Overall, this place was good and pretty cool. I love the fact it is in an old garage and has such great character and interior. Would I recommend this place to friends and family members? Yes, if you love burgers..this is your place!

Vinsetta Garage is the family's go-to spot when we are looking for something that will satisfy everyone's unique preferences. We have been dining here since before Covid and their standards and menu options have not dropped. Their menu has options for picky eaters and for those that are a little more adventurous, so no one has to compromise when we eat here! Their cocktails, food, and friendly staff are the reason we are repeat customers. Also very thankful that they now offer reservations! The tikka fries are an absolute must, do not skip them! I love the Vinsetta garage! It's got a great atmosphere, but what's even better is their food. My favorite is the Greek lamb burger with lots of extra feta cheese! The fries are to die for. And all of this is served in a really cool environment. Always busy, but I still highly recommend it.

This is perhaps my favorite place for American food in the area so far. I drove by this place often as they are strategically located on Woodward Avenue. Parking was easy, so that's a plus. I spontaneously wanted dinner after work, so my friend and I decided to come here. We were starving. I'm not usually a big fan of burgers, but their burger lineup excites me. I chose to go with their burger of the month, Marina's Hot Dish Burger. The combination was creative and delicious! Turkey patty, pickled green beans, cranberry, almond, and mushroom spread between toasted buns, and I had it with a side of onion rings. I love it! A LOT! The turkey patty was moist, the green beans (which I would never have thought would work in a burger) had a crunchy and tangy flavor, the cranberry added some sweetness, and the mushroom spread blended well with the rest of the ingredients. This is perhaps one of the few burgers I thoroughly enjoyed! The onion rings were greasy, I admit, but satisfyingly. In addition, we shared Disco Fries, which were thick-cut fries topped with cheese and drowned in gravy. The flavor was great, but the portion was too huge that it was impossible to finish between the two of us, especially since the burger was also huge. Aside from the great food, the ambiance was excellent! Cute decor and fun vibes. In addition, the service was excellent. I absolutely loved it! Would definitely be back

Vinsetta Garage is a cool place to dine in. Prepare to wait a while if you don't have a reservation. The "garage" theme is noticeable both inside and out. Service is friendly and sufficient. The menu mainly consists of various kinds of burgers and pizzas. Burgers are served with house-made chips. You will be charged to substitute an alternative side. Overall, the food here is good, but a bit on the pricey side for what it is.
