Always great selection and service at Kakos. The guy that works there, who is probably the owner, is very knowledgeable. I have followed his advice several times when buying something for myself or for a present and have never been disappointed.I would highly recommend!!!

Why did it take me so long to find this place?!? I’ve searched for gluten free beer and was so very pleasantly pleased with several choices! The Kakos family has been serving Birmingham and the Metro Detroit area since 1973. Kakos has one of the best selections of liquor, wine and beer. But who doesn´t? The real story here is the high level of service, which includes a knowledge base of the products that is simply not found anywhere else. Many of the products in the store are curated to fulfill the desires of various clientele. If Kakos does not have it, they will order it for you, or find the best substitute. Their vibrant enthusiasm for the products that they sell, and for their clients is evident. Don´t be surprised when they say ¨God Bless You¨ as you are leaving. They say things like that because Kakos cares, and it shows.
