With a 1.5 month wait to get in to have them inspect a vehicle that is not running correctly, I opted to go elsewhere. If they are that good, maybe they should hire more mechanics and take on more work.My 4 star rating is only because I cannot wait 1.5 months to have my vehicle worked on, not based on their ability to correctly diagnose and work on my vehicle.

Tim and Chris are very knowledgeable, professional and honest auto technicians. Their customers (including myself) stick with them despite having to book an appointment much in advance (2-4 weeks) .I first met them when I was going pillar to post to get my truck diagnosed in early 2023. My truck’s engine was making knocking sounds. It could have been a million things, and since it was an expensive repair, I spoke to 52 (yea fifty two !!! ) shops in the greater Lansing area and Charlotte. I took estimate from fove shops including Spartan Toyota. Eventually I chose these guys and I’m so glad that I did.Chris was very thorough with his assessment. I found him to be the most knowledgeable among all the 52 shop technicians that I had spoken to before as well as the most concerned for customer’s best interest. He explained all the possibilities and related costs very well. Most surprising thing is that the most knowledgeable person in the area (Chris and Tim) are also the most cost affective. It is this deadly combination that makes you want to wait for an appointment even if it is 2 weeks out. These guys as just gems. And ooh, did I mention that they don’t charge for diagnosis !! Yes, I feel so indebted to them for taking care of my truck and my pocket that I sometimes feel bad if I don’t bring them some small gift as a token of my appreciation.Please try them, you won’t regret it.

I have used them for years with great service. They are very polite and friendly and don't make you feel stupid when you are trying to describe a problem.

I was referred to Tim's for worn rotors on the front end of my Jeep Cherokee. The appointment was timely considering the holidays. When I took it in Chris checked it over and explained the issue and gave me 3 options for the repair. I took the option of getting it fixed. He even took off one of the rotors and showed me the issue. I was out of the shop within an hour or so and the price was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend them for your car repair.

Absolutely love the way I'm treated every time I use this business! I never feel cheated or pressured to buy something I don't need. Being a woman who knows nothing about cars it's easy for places to try and scam me out of money, but that definitely doesn't happen here! HONEST car repair. Took my car in to have repaired (I was referred here) and it a LOT of stuff that needed to be fixed. He had my car fixed the same day and even called to see if I wanted to prioritize which items needed to be fixed incase I couldn't financially do it all at once. Cost was average for car repair but having an honest person doing the work is worth whatever the cost to me. I will be coming here from now on and I live over an hour away.
