Walked in looking for a particular record, immediately girl #1 said “we close in 10 minutes” followed by girl #2 saying “actually 5 minutes” I said no problem I know what I’d like to buy. Then shlubby guy says “were closing up, I’m not trying to kick you out, but I kind of am”. Very rude, found the album on Amazon for cheaper anyway.

its ok , stopped in real quick hoping to find used albums, which they do have but they have a lot of new lps as well. the stock seemed disorganized with various figurines and other items mixed in on the wall and display cases. if was a difficult store to browse in because of the setup

Found something I had been looking for as a gift. It was on sale for $1 less than priced. Alright selection. The person working the register seemed to be genuinely afraid of me. Also, who has a carpeted floor with dogs in the building?

Perhaps they should call themselves Chyrysalis records since they will be flying away from their slumlord shell on the Feast of Stephen. The place is an institution, I have bought two turntables (but no microphone and no Beck as he is bad and anathema) and records, cds, t shirts, tapestries, posters, knick knacks, incense (no peppermints), videos and a gargoyle candle holder whose eyes glow with the flame. Follow them to the terrestrial paradise that is Berkley. All hail Flipside. I have gotten Haydn, Johnny Guitar Watson and Red Fang there to give some idea of the scope of the merchandise.

Walked in the store today and picked out three records to purchase. As I was walking to the register the clerk looked at me and said "you gotta wear a mask"Did not have the courtesy to ask me politely. Just was rude and obnoxious. I walked out with saying a word.

Love this place. Not as many DVD specials as 10 years ago, but there are always great deals on used cd’s. There’s also plenty of vinyl. Still some video game stuff too as well as incense and other items. For an independent store, their new music is competitively priced. I also find plenty of electronic music here too.Also, they care about the community and wear masks. Hope they stay in business for a long time and wish the best on their location move.

Great selection of records (new and old). They were also very nice when I asked questions about buying a new turntable and gave me great advice and someone who’s a complete novice with records. Cool shop and would definitely recommend.

Thought this was a cool store but completely got ripped off. Bought import CD's thinking they were real but they were CDR's with handwriting on the blank CD. And the "covers" were just picture printouts. Why even sell these and say "No returns?"Ripping people off is not cool. Buyer beware if you're buying an Import CD there. It's not real. Lost $70 for nothing.

As Long As I'm Living, I Will Never Set Foot In That Record Store Again. You Should Of Saw How They Looked At Me When I Walked In The Store And How They Were Watching Me While I Was Looking Through The Records... My First Thought Was To Walk Up To The Counter And Sit My License And Both Of My American Express Cards On The Counter And Tell Them You Don't Have To Worry About Me Stealing Any Of Your Horrible Condition Vinyl. But Instead I Looked At Them And Walked Out The Door. I Don't Spend My Money Where I'm Not Wanted

Flipside is the BEST! They have all the old and new music, movies and collectibles! I hope they stay in Clawson when they move - they are one of the reasons to come to Clawson.
