Deserves 0 stars ppl here are lazy ash they spend their time talking in the back and then were rude because I wasn't on time to my appointment but I arrived 15 minutes early. Terrible service I don't recommend this location at all.

Had me waiting 40 mins while they chatting in the back. It was like it was around there lunch break or something. It was at 9:00 a.m.. never coming back here again.

They say they open at 8 but when you get there no one is on the booths and you can hear them in the back. Once they attend you they do so with an attitude....this is unacceptable behavior

Too many things to put on here. Slow service at the Post office...so slow that I got a $45.00 parking ticket while I was inside! Never know when my mail is coming very inconsistent delivery times. Outgoing mail doesn't get picked up. Get other peoples mail. Left a box of food donations, they delivered my mail and left the box on my porch clearly marked (Post Office Food Donation). I use this location as a last resort because of all the issues I've experienced and that's a shame because it's close to my house. I've been to several other Post Offices and they all run smoothly.

All I can say is that I hope and pray my child receives his passport. I scheduled an appointment for 8am today which was booked days in advance on the USPS Gov website for the Springwells location in Detroit. First clue, I tried booking an appointment 50 miles away from this location and couldn't get an appoint in the month of January except for this location. My husband and I arrived at 8am. Doors were locked and lights were dim. My husband walked around back to signal one of the postal workers that we had an appointment at 8am. The postal worker proceeds to tell my husband that the office opens at 8:30am. We informed the postal worker it states on the website, doors open at 8am in addition why would you allow us to schedule an appointment for a time you are not open. Well, finally, at 8:07 am, manager opens the door for us and states she was sorry and a truck was late then proceeded to walk away enters her office and closes the door leaving us at the counter to wait on a representative. A representative appears behind the counter with an attitude and processes the passport application. She appeared lost and fumbled through the transaction and said we were all set and handed me a receipt. I have no confidence in the rep and how the transaction was handled. This was my first visit to this location and my experience was pleasant at all. Rude staff and unprofessional. Stay away from this location and certainly don't arrive at 8:00am which is when they open. You won't be a welcomed at all.

One of a few locations in Southwest Detroit that desperately needs a bilingual staff memeber the other is on livernois for the many Latino patrons that are spanish speakers including where the post office is located it should be a automatic no brainer! So tired of seeing people struggle to communicate. I can go to Dearborn and they have Arabic speakers working the line so this is baffling to me. And disheartening. Desperately trying to figure out why Dearborn can have someone that speaks Arabic on hand but Detroit can't have anyone that speaks Spanish.

Mail carriers are lazy and sorry. They lie all the time not to deliver my mail. They lied today 7/7/22 that my dogs were outside when they attempted to deliver but my dogs go down for naps at 1 and they were sleeping indoors when the lazy carrier claimed she couldnt deliver. Either do your job or quit. Post office is lousy
