Sitting here waiting for someone to help me fix something that couldn’t be fixed online or by calling customer service. I am literally watching these employees fraternize, watched a person come out of nowhere and take the spot in front of me to speak to a banker, and they keep telling me in five minutes over and over, I just had to leave. They earned this rating.

One of the most unprofessional Branches of Citizens to go to. They spoke on my account in front of another customer. They're condescending, and slow. I’ll be closing my account with them promptly.

They stole my money. I went in, with CASH, got a receipt, and then magically the money is gone. Their back office “can’t” find it or see it, nothing. Then..when I go in to have it corrected, the “manager” has the gall to ask me why I need access to my money right away and can’t wait the 24-48 hours for it to post. Are you joking? Is this a joke? Apparently it was a joke, because the teller laughed about it in my face. I’m done with this branch. Unprofessional is the nicest word I can think of.

Their ATM stole my entire paycheck because it had no money in it but it still deducted the money from my account. We are on day 3 of them not fixing the problem and now I have no money to eat or pay my bills with. Don't go here!!!

Literally the slowest bank you will ever go to I pulled up to the drive-through line and I was 5 cars back I spent 1hour and 10mins in line I will never go here again people are rude also it would seen after making people wait over an hr in the drive thru they would be nice nope not the case

I have been in this line for 1 hour With only 1 car in front of me and 10 cars behind me have Never been here before but I'm positive this is the last time I'll be coming to this location You would think if there is a problem You would tell the person to come inside to solve the issue So you can continue to process the rest of the people But I don't understand why do I have to go outside my neighborhood to be serviced by this Bank when I have one right in my neighborhood it's ridiculous

Citizens Bank is a good bank with good customer service and good staff. I reccomend this bank to Ferndale Locals and reccomend their checking account and credit cards

I have been a customer of Citizens Bank since 2005, or maybe before that. I have a checking account that I use profusely for Work direct deposit and payment of all bills. I had issues before with their predatory overdraft fees that are out of control and after complaining I got a letter from the office of the Chairman that did nothing for me. But, this is another matter. I also have a Home Equity Line of Credit. I had some financial difficulties so I got behind two payments. Last week, they sent me a foreclosure package about options that I have to keep my house, etc. Now that I got back on my feet I was ready to resume payments so I called the number they have on the package to discuss either lump sum payment or two payment installments. When I dialed the number they have on the letter, it asked to dial the extension number (no extension was given on the letter) or zero for the operator. I dialed zero but a recorder came up asking to leave a message. I did leave an urgent message to call me back immediately since I was obviously anxious about losing my house. That was a week ago. To this writing the HELOC did not even contact me once. I guess they are waiting to pass the time so they can foreclose on the house, and this is apparently not an urgent and important matter to Citizens Bank. Yesterday, 03/06/2020 on Friday night, I went to the branch in Dearborn Heights, MI. The Personal Banker was nice and she called the same number on the letter and had the same experienced I faced. She used her internal number and they gave her a Consumer Finance Line 800-708-6682. However, this was Collections for vehicles and personal loans. They told her that Equity department was closed (it was after 5:00 P.M.) now and they will be open Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. On the next day Saturday, I called at 9:30 A.M. Again, it was the Collections Department for Vehicle loans and personal loans. The person who answered said I called the wrong number (!) but Equity Collections is closed anyways on Saturday and they will open from Monday to Friday. This is contradictory, chaotic, and non-professional. I am wasting and losing precious time on what? not being able to call and talk to someone who is threatening to foreclose on my house because of a stupid Equity Line? I hung up and dialed the so-called Office of the Chairman trying to talk to his secretary about this quagmire but, of course, she was not available until Monday. Now, I have to overcome my anxiety over the weekend. It's time to get rid of this bank and I hope all can see the shoddy and bad service I experienced. For what I faced this Bank deserves less than one star.

I have had nothing but problems with my business banking account with this branch and company. I deposited a check and they put it into someone elses bank account. I recieved a phone call saying that they made a mistake but they could not correct it today. Now not only is my bank account in the negative because of their mistake but it wont even be corrected today. I am unable to perform the work I promised my customers and had to take the entire day off because of this. I have been on the phone for 2 hours going above this branch to get the issue resolved but still no resolution. They preach about taking care of their small business customers but they have only caused ne problems. Also if you mobile deposit they are allowed to hold your check for up to 5 days if they choose to do so. It happened to me 3 checks in a row. What a disaster!!! I Do Not Recommend Citizens bank for anyone personal or business.

Manager very disrespectful to the two of us who were already in line but came out of his office to ask the two men who were white that just walked in what could he help them with. There was only one cashier and she was doing a business tranaction that took awhile. This manager was very unprofessional. This is the first time I have ever experienced that type of behaviour in this bank. The lady that was in front of me told him he was disrespectful with his actions.
