  • "Awful experience. Let me start by saying Don Pablo's on Hall Road in Sterling Heights, Michigan is 100% better - but this location is absolutely awful. We were told 15-20 minute wait. Waited for 35 minutes. When my mother asked the hostess if we would be seated soon she was treated rudely with eye rolls. When we finally got seated we noticed about 50-60% of the tables were empty. They were under staffed in either the kitchen or the wait staff. AWFUL MANAGEMENT. We were seated to a table that was literally soaked still. My parents asked the (believed to be) manager if we could have someone dry it off and the lady rudely said, "I haven't even told your waitress she has this table yet so you'll just have to wait." Let's just say, we waited so long to even see a waitress that the table was perfectly dry by the time she finally came. Our drink order (cokes and waters) took around 15 minutes to arrive. Our food close to 45 minutes. Awful. Just don't go - honestly. Or if you go, do take out. Because the waitresses, management, etc etc have no idea how to run a restaurant. By far the absolute worst service I've ever gotten at a restaurant. "
  • "Disappointed with the food quality. I ordered the flauta's and could tell before I even took a bite that they were a frozen product and once I tried them I could tell it was a low quality product. Other people in our party were not impressed with the food quality of their meals either. The server we had was good. He took good care of us. He just didn't have control of the quality of food. I would recommend tying some locally owned Mexican restaurants. There are some great ones in this area that are more deserving of your time and money. I won't be going back."
  • "This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. We first discovered it when we lived in Texas, and were so excited when we found this one after moving to Michigan. The decor is intended to look like an old Mexican plaza. They have the best fresh-made tortillas anywhere. My favorite dishes are the sour cream chicken enchiladas and carnitas; my daughters love the fajitas, and my husband always gets the Don Diego platter. We LOVE the sopaipillas for dessert. Staff are friendly, service is good, and management makes problems right quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant. "
  • "Went there and waited 10 minutes for the first person to take our drink order. Took 10 more minutes and 2 other people took our drink order. We never got our drinks. So we left 25 min after being seated. "
  • "Don pablos used to be good, not anynmore .Food was lousy, dried food on the wall, mediocre service. Dirty place. Go to Mexico for a dirtier resturant , better food. "
