What a lovely place to visit. My kids enjoyed climbing outside on the treehouse and enjoyed the vast amount of butterflies we encountered. Would recommend for a nice day out. The only downside is the cost as I felt it was a little pricey for entrance.

Love to visit more during the summer. It's an amazing place to be because of the plants. My favorite is The Japanese Garden.

Oh, I love Frederik, Meijer Gardens! The mac & cheese in the café was delicious though it could've been more cheesy but the real thing here to see is the sculpture park outside and the indoor rainforest filled with butterflies! If you're in Grand Rapids Michigan, come and check it out!

This is one of my favorite places to visit in the spring through fall. I really love how beauty it's taken care of and all of the exhibits. I've had a yearly membership for years and it's so worth it.Always go to the back via the walking bridges as there are turtles back there! A great place to see nature, walk and enjoy :)

I enjoyed my time at the gardens, it brought some excitement back that I had as a kid when I came here was a child. There are so many things for every type of museum visitor. Art exhibit, the gardens, the sculpture garden and the kids learn and play areas which was my favorite. It's way more that just a building full of flowers.

Beautiful place. So happy to have it close to home. Outdoor concerts are a lot of fun.

Nothing is better for your soul than Frederik Meijer Gardens !! WOW I could go on and on, but I was just overwhelmed with the beauty of this place. The staff, mostly consisting of volunteers, was so friendly and courteous.

Very beautiful park! It’s huge! Definitely take the tram and learn more about the sculptures. Flowers were gorgeous as well! Lots of different types of plants and flowers. Highly recommend!

Way over priced and the best thing about the whole place was the food in the Cafe.
Very much lacking in flowers and color. The bulk of the flowers were in the parking lot , which didn't cost 16.00 a person to see. Many wide open areas make it as though its big with lots to see but many things were repeated throughout the gardens. Plants were not labeled to know what they are which lacks in educating the visitors. The biggest exhibit I was looking forward to seeing was not even there anymore but was listed on the website to be there at the time of my visit. I traveled to get there so to not have it be there , I was highly upset. Shouldn't have something on the website thats not even there , how misleading. The entrance at the gardens was very much confusing and not set up with the visitors in mind. Then when we asked for help the employees were very unfriendly and attituditous. Actually , the only friendly employee there was the cashier in the Cafe. The trip to Meijer gardens and sculpture park was an overpriced disappointment and waste of time and money.

Beautiful museum experience. Lovely gardens where you can sit and listen to the water falls as benches are uniquely situated. There was also a wonderful cultural exhibit and we were blown away. The children's section is totally interactive and located outdoors. And although we didn't bring our child during this visit it was certainly entertaining and educational for us to participate in the sensory exhibit.

As botanical gardens go I have never been to one as well maintained and diverse as this one. From the moment you enter the main building you are surrounded by amazing flora and fauna as well as art and history. The vast property includes a variety of gardens, wonderful accessible pathways, an amphitheater, children's area and touched of the history of the Meijer family. After 3 1:2 hours my husband and I hadn't even seen half of this wonderful place, just means another trip from Florida to Michigan to visit again! There are places here to just relax and meditate or for the kids to run and laugh, a cafe for a bite to eat as well as a non-walking tour you can purchase separately from entrance fee, if you are a member of another botanical garden like I am check to see if this is a reciprocal location which gets you in for no cost.

Very huge place, plan on spending more then a few hours exploring. Both tickets to get in and gift shop are little expensive. But definitely worth seeing everything. You can spend a little more to use a shuttle. A whole interactive kids center outside with sculptures, mini splash pool, treasure hunt, and more. The garden inside the greenhouse is beautiful, very well taken care of. It was busy but you didn't even notice when you go inside. Wheelchair, scooter, and stroller friendly. Places to get drinks and food. Lots to look at!
