Great place to shop and reduce the waste you use at home. It's clean and has a fantastic mission. It's turning into one of my favorite places to shop after about a year of going. I get all my spices, seeds and beans here. Soon I'll run out of toothpaste and start getting that too!

Neat little place my sister dragged me too. Reminds me of an older store we used to have around Called Bulk Foods. Tried the Amish honey granola and made it into cookies pretty good.

Shop here and buy your dry goods in bulk. It saves so much money versus a traditional grocery store. I'm always surprised at how cheap my bill is.You can bring your own clean containers or they have compostable bags available to use.

So excited to see a bulk food and spice store in Grand Rapids. It is a connvenient location with plenty of street parking. There are bins and bins of bulk flours, dried fruits, rice, beans, etc. I've found it a great way to get fresh products at reasonable prices and also explore cooking with new whole grains and flours. I look forward to seeing their spice collection grow and they seem to be adding new items every couple weeks. A great local store to frequent with friendly and helpful staff. They were also dog friendly and offered my dog who sat outside (somewhat patiently) some dog biscuits they carry in the store, bonus points! (:

#thankfulthursday Today I am thankful that Proprietary is open and serving the community. Victoria was so helpful the moment I walked in. I arrived an hour before closing with two small jars determined to finally bake my own bread. . Victoria helped me with not only measurements but also told a little bit about the ingredients I need to make my bread fluffy with that stretchy doughy texture I'm after. She helped me with a recipe and I bought yeast, salted cashews, and bread flour. The space is very clean, you must wear a mask and provided gloves when picking ingredients Thank you again Propriety for all your support, kindness, and help to finally gain confidence in the kitchen. I will be back next week to buy ingredients to make homemade rice :) See you soon! Enjoy the sunshine, Jennah
