First one must be a member... then you are afforded condescending explanations of their other standard policies which result in less than sub-par service. When I purchased tires and had them installed, the service techs neglected to use anything to assist them in loosening corroded threads and instead decided to break my valve/TPMS from the rim. Professionally, I am trained to look at broken parts and understand where fractures started and reverse engineer what happened. The head of the tech department lied to my face and made me pay for a new TPMS because 'it was their policy'. It is now two years later and they have still not been able to successfully program the unit they installed so I continue to drive around with the tire pressure warning light lit on my dash. The personnel turnover is quite high so I decided to try my luck again with a car battery I needed this winter. My wife warned me. I should have listened. I called ahead to make an appointment and was told on the phone that it is first come first serve. When I arrived I was initially told that I needed an appointment (while I could plainly see the battery I needed on the shelf and three techs wandering around in an empty shop). Finally they decided to do the work. I was able to use points I earned by being a loyal Sam's club member to reduce the overall cost but it wasn't worth it. I was treated to the worst service I've had in my life. When the work was done (it took them 20 min to replace a battery in a Toyota Sienna which is super accessible), a lady happened to walk up to the counter. After 5 minutes of listening to them mansplain how tire pressures decrease when it gets cold to this lady, I got to approach the counter. That's when I had got my turn to listen to their explanation that they took extra time because they were letting air out of my tires! Because it was their policy! Then he proceeded to blame ME for breaking the TPMS sensor because my tire pressure was 'so high' (less than the maximum tire pressure, exactly where I wanted it). I was told that I would have to make an appointment to get the TPMS fixed. Hard NOPE to that. The Management must be horrible here. NEVER EVER is blindly following a 'POLICY' more important than doing the right thing to ensure a happy customer (especially when it wouldn't cost you anything!).

Brought a used car that came with winter and summer tires. Sams refused to switch the them because I didn’t buy the tires from their place, even though I have bought tires FROM THEM for other cars in the past. Really disappointing.

Went in to the tire dept to get some prices. Some young guy stuck his head into the sales area and said somebody would be in in a little bit for tires. Well, another 10 minutes went by and still nobody showed up. I guess you don't want my business very bad. At least when you go to discount Tire they help you immediately. Maybe Sam's Club could take a lesson from this. Go on over to Discount Tire and see how it's really done.

I have had my tires rotated and balanced several time. The men in the department have wonderful phone and people skills. I was impressed with the way they communicated and of course, how well they did their job.

You can only use half of the gas pumps because according to the girl with pink hair, their hoses are too short and management thinks it's a safety issue to use the others. Be prepared for a long line or a scolding from the safety ranger.

I love visiting sams wherever I go. Easy parking lot ever. In and out was smooth getting gas was so easy snd there was plenty of parking. All on a Friday memorial weekend!! The store was well organized like all of them and it wasn't busy. They even had samples!! I love that each store carries different products. I left with several things that we didn't have in my home town. I was extremely pleased and happy with this visit just didn't disappoint.

Yesterday while checking out I had some issues with my membership card. Long story short, Martha and Cat did not help me at all! They were rude from the very beginning of me asking for help. Cat even put up her little tablet into my face and became very cocky with me. When I asked for a manager her reply was “Well I’m sorta the manager right now”. Martha, the supposed manager, came over and was rude and not willing to help the situation at all. The two of them need some training about customer service, the way they acted and treated me was very unprofessional and not acceptable.

I was appalled on a Saturday afternoon the huge number of people without masks. I complained and was told “legally they couldn’t do anything “. It’s your store, you enforce the rules. You must make the people follow the rules or deny them access. Sam’s club is not worth my family and I getting sick or worse. I’ll go to COSTCO in the future.

This is the 4th Sams Club in the West Michigan area I have shopped at since becoming a member this summer. This Holland location was the best one so far.10/10 stars and I will be holding all other Sams Clubs to the standards of professionalism that this Sams Club set.Upon entering the flow of shopping was more busy than I have seen other locations the staff all seemed to be helping shoppers so I expected the wait to be longer than I anticipated.Kevin must have attended a few corses in person to person communication cause he was professional and nice.He went a step above all the other personnel and UPSOLD us on getting a upgraded membership but wasn't pushy.Kevin should be one of the teachers that train other employees on customer service I have nothing but praises for this location because of his service. The usual wait time was nil he was giving us service in the jewelry department before I could start waiting. The trip was well worth driving from Muskegon to Holland.

Very disappointed that my under warranty tires on 3 vehicles. 12 tires total, are NOT under warranty as you have closed the TIRE center for over 4 months, due to Covid. I have tires with bad seals, that lose air, and tires that haven't been rotated in over 10K miles. Refund on my warranty or are you going to reimburse me the out of pocket cost at a local garage. Car repairs were deemed essential since day one. We NEED this service for safe travel.

It took 3.5 hours to put new tires on my vehicle. Additionally they broke one of my TPMS sensors during the installation. They told me they replaced the sensor and the tire pressure light on my car will go out after about 20 mins of driving. It did not. Went in to have them fix it, however, they did not have the sensor in stock. I was told they would call me in 3-4 days to schedule a replacement. I never received a call from them. Went in to see what was going on, and they had sold the sensor to a different customer. Then they tried to say it was my responsibility. Really poor customer service all 3 times I visited with 3 different staff members.

For a meat cutting market to run out of ribeye, t bones delmonico , on the Saturday before Father's Day is not the cutters fault. It is the fault (stupidity)of the fresh meat manager/ orderer.
