This little shop has been here for a long long time and what I like is just that, it has stayed the same, consistent. It looks the same now as it did over 25 years ago, it is a mainstay in our community and is the place to stop whenever you are in town for just a vacation, a visit or while living here. The shop has a lot of little inexpensive things to buy your kids that are geared for the vacationer. Their fudge is really awesome and a large assortment and homemade! Get some it tastes so good!

Most of the other reviews of this establishment hit the nail right on the head. The owners of this place are more interested in preventing shoplifting then they are in offering customer service. The irony of this is that good customer service oftentimes prevents shoplifting. This gift shop is great for younger people who want to get a souvenir from their trip up north. To older people however, it just seems incredibly kitschy and there would be very little here that they would want to steal in the first place. Most of the so-called souvenirs are mass produced, anyway. Go here only if you are incredibly nostalgic.

So sad, we come to this gift shop everytime we come to Houghton lake cause we think it's a amazing place and love to shop here, went today since we couldn't during COVID restrictions ect and they were closed. I hope they can reopen for others to enjoy. Maybe next year they will be if we come up. I always bought a ring everytime I came cause it was a tradition.. sad. Hope they can open and recover from loss business.

This place is a must-stop if you are in or around Houghton Lake. Unique gifts, candy, fudge, Native American items. Great for fun photos too! Was really happy to see they made it through COVID!

Stopped in here with my kids and grandkids today. The workers watched us all closely like we were going to steal something. We were not greeted at all and they were both very unfriendly. I live in the area and will definitely not be back and will not recommend this store to anyone!!

The owner of this shop is so rude!!!!!!! I’ve never left a bad review for anyone before. She watches you like a hawk like you’re about to steal something…. And she never greeted me either. First thing she said to me “do you need help with something because it looks like you’re just taking pictures of everything,” while glaring at me. I was actually sending a picture to my cousins of the zodiac necklaces to see if they wanted any… but of course I left right after that. Not like I would expect anything less from a Caucasian owner profiting off of native Americans.. lol.
