I'm not the most well-versed in attic insulation and mold remediation, fortunately I could trust this company 100%!! Dale, the job boss, oversaw the whole project, asked my opinion on how it went, explained everything to me, and came to inspect everything at the completion of the work. I am grateful to my industrial hygienist, Jeff Rostoni for recommending Palmer to me! It's a jungle out there! especially if you don't really know how to scrutinize the proposals. VERY satisfied!!

Palmer Construction does a great job. They do the work the right way, communicate well with clients, pay attention to detail, and hire highly skilled workers. My husband and I had our house and garage re-sided last winter. They were invaluable in helping us choose the right materials, they did a great job in doing the work, and for the few minor issues we discovered after the project was completed, they returned promptly to address them to our satisfaction. I can't recommend this company highly enough, and I'm sure I will contact them again in the future when having additional projects done on our house. I appreciate the quality of their work and their professionalism.

They have done work for us in the past. Received from them a quote for new project. An individual came out and gave us a bid. Called 3 times to schedule work and was told someone would call back to schedule but they never did. Things have changed. Will never call them again.Now need to find new contractor.Services: Gutter repairs

The workers arrived early, got right to work, they knew exactly what their job was. Everyone was friendly. The job was completed in a day! I have no complaints, very happy with my roof! Sub-contractor for job was NOT vetted well by Palmer Construction; very, very poor work! No communication from Owner of Palmer and NO communication from Sub-contractor. NO support or identification of possible remedies from Office Staff. DO NOT do business with Palmer Construction, Lansing, Michigan! I spent several months with poorly installed facia/Azak on home and they even used poorly milled cedar board/facia when the whole reason for the project was to replace deteriorating facia with Azak/PVC Type of material. I also had to have the stucco replaced in areas because when they removed the facia, the stucco was damaged. Project began in December. Finally located reputable contractor, so that in July, 2022, my home was finally repaired. Use Palmer Construction of Lansing, Michigan, at your own risk! Alan J. Kreutzberg

This is for employees looking to work for Palmer Construction. I 10/10 DO NOT recommend working for Andy Palmer. His toxic leadership style is a direct result of his high turnover rate. In his interview process he asks employees if they can handle an autonomous work environment only to be micromanaged and belittled once their hired in. Working for Andy I experienced how judgemental he is. With his pattern of hiring employees deciding he does not like them and looking for a solid argument to fire them. Until he finds the reason he is known to act as though they are not worth his time or completely ignore them. His turnover rate could easily be lowered if he put more time and care into what his employees bring to the table instead of his personal projects and broken spreadsheets.One of my many examples of his inappropriate behavior is he hired me and a few weeks later hired my boyfriend. After giving my BF a pay cut, for business reasons, he tells him in the same breath, "But don't worry your household won't suffer because your partner is getting a raise, dont tell her I told you". A day or two later I found out about my pay increase, and when Andy fired my partner I found out that he knew about my pay raise before me. I left the company a couple of months later. Before quitting I had asked Andy to do work review with me and upon ending the meeting I asked how I could do my job better he prompted me to follow him back to his office where he handed me a book on emotional intellegence. I tried to stick it out for another week but unfortunatly could not handle the toxicity.His expectations are unachievable and while he sees no issue with how he treats/uses people, he becomes irate when others treat him with the same disrespect. If you care about your mental health and progressing in your professional career Palmer Construction is not the place to work.

Just had roof, skylights, fascia, soffits, and gutters done by Palmer. I can't say enough nice things about them. Communication was excellent: I always knew where they were going to be, what they were going to do, and how much it cost. Before construction we got detailed maps and photos. They did the work quickly and cleaned up thoroughly. I couldn't be more pleased.

Every person we dealt with treated us in a very personal professional manner. They did a great job from start to clean up on my mom’s roof replacement. We had used them 5 years ago on our own home roof project, it’s nice to see that quality and customer service has not changed. Still top notch!Service: Roof installation

The most professional roofers I’ve worked with. Crew cleaned up promptly every day, fantastic warranty. I was surprised that they came in with such a fair quote considering how much more professional the whole process was compared to the competition.

After working for Andy Palmer for a couple of weeks one day I was told to call Owens Corning to make my login. After that I sat back down in my seat to proceed on the task at hand. A task which was presented to me by Andy Palmer. At the start of the video Andy says, "you need headphones" so he scrabbles around angrily looking for headphones. Slamming doors while swearing profusely. (I know he will discard this but I have proof to back up every word I'm saying right now"). He then tells me he doesn't have time to babysit me. So I walked out and went home. I come into work ready to learn while being paid, so for him to say "I can't baby sit you" is really disheartening. I trusted this man after signing his mission statement which says, treat others how you want to be treated. There is no possible way he wants to be treated the way he treated me. "Feedback"? No it's not feedback it's bullying. He yells at his employees, mostly Thor K.

Palmer replaced my roof and the gutters and covers. Andy Palmer, the owner, personally visited with me several times as I was deciding which product and color to choose and whether to wait until the next year, as it was getting later in the fall when I was deciding. I wanted a top quality roofing product that had SBS rubberized components. The color I chose Owens Corning Black Sable did not come in that color at the time. Andy checked with his rep, who was also on the committee that determined colors for the next year, and learned that the product I wanted was scheduled to come in Black Sable the following summer, so he advised me to wait. I was thrilled. Although the OC roofing material contained copper, I also wanted a special copper strip (Copper Cat) placed on my roof as extra insurance against mold buildup over time. The roofing crew replaced everything, but Dale, the crew manager did not like the appearance, and as a perfectioninst, insisted that adjustments be made. As a perfectionist myself, I could not have been more pleased. This group were professional, attentive, aethetically informed, highly knowledgeable about their products and procedures and very careful in executing their job and cleaning up later. No rush job here. Very happy I took my time and decided to go with Palmer.

Initial we had maybe a communications issue but all items were address. We have since contracted Palmer to replace two more roofs and have been completely satisfied with their work quality and end of project follow-through. Palmer management has been a pleasure to deal with. In addition we are already planning to invite Palmer Construction back for two more projects. We will not be looking for competing bids as Palmer is a company you can trust.

Our new house had terrible ice dams and interior water leaks last February in the cathedral roof section.The owner Andy Palmer personally came out to our home and worked with us to determine the best solution within our budget. We consulted several other companies and none of them made as much effort to help solve our specific problem.We can't comment on their workmanship yet because we're waiting for warmer weather for the project to start, but so far I'm very happy with Palmer Construction.

The Palmer Construction Company has done work for Williamston UMC many times as it is a really old church! They have always been very professional, quick to respond to our needs and have taken care of our roof issues in a timely matter. The crew does an excellent job of cleaning up after the job is completed. Williamston UMC will ask for their services again and again as needed.
