I was in the mood for Mexican and happened across this place ... and I'm so glad I did!!! Loved the concept of ordering at the front, where there also is a small store with many a Mexican fare, and then head to the back to sit and wait for food that came promptly and was amazing! Everything fresh and delicious-and priced right! Will be going back

This place has some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. Authentic, flavorful and good portions. The service was right on point. Staff very friendly and patient. The inside is pretty cool since it's a market and a restaurant. One stop shop for all your needs. The wet chicken burrito and chicken quesadilla were great. Taco salad is delicious and was pretty to just look at. It was delicious Definitely recommend

I ordered Pozole verde. It was watery with this processed chicken and absolutely NO Seasoning. They gave me Lettuce and no cabbage as toppings. This is not authentic Mexican, it's not even Mexican. Highly disappointed. I made better Pozole Verde as a kid.

The food is authentic, fresh and a great value. The team is polite and helpful. Food is made quickly and orders are easily placed through Clover. Highly recommend if you like good taquerias.

Another hidden gem in Madison Heights! Their casa birria taco with consome and steak/chicken fajitas are the best in the area.

I'd love to say positive things about this place but they charged my card more than they should have. The food was $20 but I was charged $33, adding on extra I never signed for. Guessing they added extra onto the tip that I didn't authorize. Very dishonest. I won't be rushing back.

Half Mexican grocer, half unassuming seriously good taco joint. Very reasonability priced, in fact a bargain. The service wasn’t great and there was a mix up with orders but I can’t fault the food. Would recommend.

Cool little store when you walk in. Guy didn't hear me name when I told him it initially. I got taco dinner, corn eloté, and churros. Comes with lame plastic silverware. Parking lot is too tight. Overall, it was not bad but there's better tacos for your dime nearby. Tacos: B Paid extra for flour shell and it's worth it, I hate dry shells. Perfectly cooked. Good meat to shell ratio. Provided a red and green salsa for free that aren't anything special. I also paid extra for sour cream. I rank the tacos 1. Pork 2. Steak 3. Chicken (bad). Corn Elotè: F Watered down, mess. Topping isn't very good, corn beneath is in this weird liquid. Not recommend. Churros: B+ Almost makes up for the corn being bad. Very sweet, prepared right. Comes with caramel but they don't give you enough caramel.

Very good food and never a mistake in special instructions. Delightful people work there and the market is an added attraction. Please support this place as they are few and far between these days. I am just a regular customer with no connection to them, suggesting this is a real review based on experience. Love you guys!! R & D

Really enjoy this place, great food and great products in the store. Just wish they were open in the morning. Kind of disappointing that there are no Mexican restaurants open before 11am in the area. Makes me miss South Texas where all the Mexican restaurants were open by 8am lol seriously, I miss having a good Mexican breakfast that I don't have to drive 30 minutes to get to (only Mexican restaurants here that are open for breakfast are in Mexican town, sometimes it's worth the drive but sometimes it isn't). But other than that, it's a great establishment with great food. Definitely worth a try. The steak enchiladas are always fire.Parking: Small parking lot but it's a small restaurant and they don't share their parking lot.

When I received my food, juice had leaked all over the inside of the bag and on the outside of the containers, and my pop was so dented i couldn't open it. Pretty messy and inconvenient, but this may be a result of poor handling by my driver so I wouldn't count this against the restaurant. I tried the elote first, it was very yummy, my only critique is that they left too much of the corn water in, making for a watery consistency. But, it was good nonetheless. The chips and cheese were so-so for me. The chips were really good, tasted homemade, and had the perfect amount of salt. The cheese was kinda thick and had a fake cheese taste, like white american or velveeta & rotel. If you like that kinda thing, this is all you. The quesabirria tacos dipped in the consome were tasty. The salsas paired with it well to cut through the savory richness of the broth and meat pairing. My personal favorite was the green salsa. It has a good flavor and a decent kick. However, the tacos on their own were just ok, I was disappointed to find a soggy tortilla & semi-dry meat. I'd love to see a little more crunch on the outside to add texture. The churros really, really sold it for me. They had the most perfect crunchy chewy texture. The caramel was yummy too. Overall I would definitely return, and maybe shop around their menu to find some options I really love. Everything tasted authentic and was prepared quickly.
