We've been taking our pets here for years and they always get amazing care. From regular checkups to vaccinations to dental surgery, they do it all. It's definitely worth the drive from Dewitt!

My dogs have been coming here since they were puppies and I can safely say they won’t be returning. While everyone there is very kind, it’s quite overpriced compared to other places I’ve heard about as well as the fact that they came in for their appointment without fleas, and since then I have noticed they’re covered in them, mind you they haven’t been around any other animals or in new places in the past week and a half since said appointment where they could possibly get fleas otherwise.

We have gone to Red Cedar Animal Hospital for the last 5 years with our cats and now we have added to the family. The entire staff is extremely kind and caring! They all take their time and explain everything and offer tips and tricks! My Tiberius loved seeing them on his first vet trip!

Spoke to someone over the phone about an emergency boarding and they were very accommodating - we really appreciate them looking out for us in that regard

After being a client for 22 yrs my babies will NEVER return here. Poor boarding..disappointed in owner of said business..huge turnover..website is out of date.Over priced in everything. So much happier at our new family vet. My girls love there new friends... not so much here. Employees should know what different breeds do..like spi . Spin away girls spin

Boarded my dog here over the holidays, and am blown away by how great my experience was. My dog is a bit anxious so I'm always worried to leave him behind, but even before I dropped him off the staff assured me he would be okay and offered to send me pictures of him while he was there.While I was gone my dog got a bit of "happy tail" and the staff were extremely communicative and stayed at the clinic late so a friend could bring by what they needed to help him stay safe!When I picked my dog up a few hours ago, he was so happy to go home but clearly loved the staff. He is in a good mood, eating normally, and currently napping next to me. He was clearly well taken care of and the staff were so sweet. Would absolutely board my sweet pup here again and would recommend to anyone!

I tried calling the clinic multiple times and Brittany continued to state that she couldn't hear me at each call even though it was obvious she could. Her employer needs to have serious discussions with her. If this is what one can expect, I'd plan on avoiding them.

Absolutely amazing, personalized care and the effort is noticeable.My dog is a rescue that has some residual quirks from the abuse he suffered early in life. On top of that, the dog and I had been hit by a car two years earlier, making him fearful or passing vehicles.The entire staff of Red Cedar Animal Hospital has been nothing but amazing and caring. We have tried several other veterinarians in the area and were sorely disappointed with one veterinarians even worsening his fear or vehicles and overall nervousness. Red Cedar Animal Hospital has listened carefully to my concerns about the dog's wellbeing and promptly made the animal feel as comfortable as possible. They even come to the car within 2 minutes during covid times to ensure the dog doesn't have to wait in the car by a noisy road for too long.I am very happy that Red Cedar Animal Hospital was recommended to us, we hope to be long term clients.

Dr. Meining and the crew at RCAH have been taking care of my 4-legged family members for nearly 10 years now. Dr. Meining is extremely knowledge. She's very thorough. Has a wonderful and friendly exam-room manner and process. And, she explains and discusses concerns and treatment options well. The staff she's assembled are also extremely friendly and helpful. Very thankful to have found Dr. Meining and Red Cedar Animal Hospital.

Dr. Barb and her staff are very knowledgeable, professional and caring. If a condition warrants additional research as to treatment options, they will do that in order to find the best option available. Even if the outcome is not expected to be good, they will do what they can to keep a pet comfortable. I have known Dr. Barb personally for many years and she has been able to identify conditions and issues in our dogs that other vets have missed. Thank you Dr. Barb!

We have come to this practice for many years and drive over one hour to come to it for our two cats because it is the only vet we feel completely comfortable with. Dr. Meining is the best vet we have ever been to and we are extremely particular. She treats your pets as if they were her own. She keeps current on the latest treatments and treats conservatively rather than overselling things she doesn't think are needed. She always has many creative suggestions to solve issues with your pet. You can tell she is passionate about being a vet and puts 100% into caring for animals.. Her staff is equally competent and caring for animals. Everyone is always so friendly even during this crazy year! We cannot say enough good things about this practice. We would not go anywhere else!

The staff is very caring and compassionate. Always feel like my 2 cats and 2 dogs are well taken care of. I always have a lot of questions and the staff is happy to answer them. They always have my pets favorite treats ready! My dogs love to go to the vet, they get so excited when we pull into the parking lot because they know they are going to see their favorite people!
