Large space, kept clean. Small selection for men’s clothing unfortunately, and the layout for women’s clothing isn’t very intuitive. Not sure why they only have 2 of 6+ dressing rooms open, even on a super super busy day. The line for dressing rooms was close to an hour long, yet they didn’t open any more. ??♀️I agree with other reviewers in that it’s over priced for a Salvation Army, as they care very much about brand names even if an item is very worn or damaged, which is odd. I’ve been to at least a dozen different Salvation Army stores and have to say this one needs to address its pricing. The staff seems uninterested in answering any questions even simple as, “do you know where women’s jeans are” and as such customers were asking each other.Announcements over the speakers to employees were pretty jarring as they were all yelled and sounded incredibly angry.Music was Christian smooth listening or smooth rock of some sort, which makes sense for Salvation Army, I have no qualms there. The down side was that every song played had maybe 2 phrases at most, and sung over and over again. Just poor writing, and it had been Christmas music when I arrived, so someone in the back changed the station. I’m not surprised entirely why the announcements sounded so exasperated if that’s the regular channel for that store. In line for the dressing rooms several of us had noticed the 1 phrase repetitively songs and more than 10ppl were thinking about just leaving because it was so hard to listen to. I hope the person who selected that station will pay more attention in the future. On the upside, they did call more employees to the front when the checkout line was wrapped around more than half the store. And they communicated well to customers when there was a cashier open that could only accept cash.Overall, I may visit the store a second time to see if my previous experience was the exception or the norm. I’m not finding myself looking forward to it however.
