Cove has a wonderful location. It is great for all seasons, has a full menu, and is a classy place to visit. Dinner in the summer months on the deck is a great sunset meal!

Location was the best part of dining at The Cove. Our view overlooking the lake, as always, was beautiful. Lunch, however, was not memorable. My clam chowder was pricey and tasted like it had come from a can. The server was very good.

Great atmosphere...lousy service...ordered coconut crusted fish. Order came over 'well done' & not a taste of coconut. Very dissappointed.

My sisters and I meet here about 3-4 times a year. The service is always good as well as the food. A nice variety of items to choose from and they offer some gluten free items also. In the summer, it's nice to enjoy the patio and view of the lake. The best thing I've eaten there is the whitefish - delicious.

I took my parents to Cove Lakeside Bistro for my father's birthday and we were very underwhelmed. We had the sausage stuffed mushrooms and the fried seafood basket for our starters. We all liked the mushrooms, but my parents thought the seafood basket was just okay (I did not try that). My mom and I had the salmon for our entree, and my dad had the whitefish. We all agreed that we have had better tasting food at other, less expensive, restaurants. I thought the brussel sprouts, which I substituted instead of getting fingerling potatoes, was better than I get at most places. My parents, who ordered a side of brussel sprouts, did not agree with me. Since we did not eat most of our entrees, we decided to have coffee and dessert. My mom and I had cheesecake with caramel sauce and my dad got the featured dessert which was chocolate cake. The decaf coffee my mom and I ordered came right away on a saucer with a napkin and a spoon, and we thought the cheesecake was good. They had to make a fresh pot of regular coffee for my dad, and we were almost ready to go before my dad's coffee was finally brought out without a saucer, napkin, or spoon, so my dad used my mom's spoon. My dad said his cake had the consistency of a brownie, so he was disappointed with the taste. None of us liked the coffee even after adding cream and sugar. Our waiter, who held our glasses at the top when he brought them to the table, was not very attentive. We were more impressed with the person who brought our meals and our desserts. The restaurant has a great location, but I am shocked by the positive reviews about food and service. There were several people at the hostess stand as we were leaving, but they did not acknowledge us. I'm used to hearing "thank you for coming in" or "have a good evening" but it was on par with the rest of the service we received. The location is awesome and I loved looking out at the water as we ate, but I have no plans to return. I can get much better service and food at Martell's.

The food was good. I had the lobster, which was great. My wife had some chicken pasta. We also ordered the crab cakes, so make sure to use the sauce on them. Whatever it was, it was very good. The kids had mac and cheese, which had no flavor. Just wet, runny cheese.

First time here and my wife and I both ordered the coconut crusted cod dinner. It was way over cooked, dry and had no taste whatsoever. The server never asked how our meal was until we were done!! Probably won’t go back!

Food was great, menu perhaps a bit limited. Service was good except getting our food out was pretty slow. This was our third visit.
