I made a rental agreement thru Priceline on my Discover card and it was accepted. However when I got to the TPA rental desk they said they did not accept Discover card. I’m from another state and that was the only card I had with me. They said if I would have read the fine print on the paperwork I would have known. I read the agreement and it said they take all major cards. I called corporate and they said the fine, fine print says it’s their discretion to change their policies. What a rip-off and a horrible upsetting inconvenience. I reported them to Priceline and the BBB. Don’t use this rental company.

Beware of this company. They will not honor your reservation. My flight was delay one day due to the recent snow storms. I spoke to the Pensacola agent in advance and explained that I would be a day late. She said no problem, we will see you tomorrow. I arrived and was told I don't have a reservation and need to book one. Now the price went from $20 a day to $110 but "they would help me out" by only charging $60 (triple the quoted rate!). I called their corporate line and was told my original quote, the one that the local branch said didn't exist, was $110 a day and not $20. I told her that $110 is the total price, not daily price. She said I was wrong that she was looking at it. Well see my attached copy and you will see I was NOT wrong. By the way the local agent said "my economy car" was not available so I had to pay for the mid-size car upgrade. You will see that my quote was for a mid-size car, not an "economy car".

UPDATE*** have email receipts from their “customer care” apologizing for their unsubstantiated claim in regards to us stealing the spare tire and to expect a full refund of the deposit however they are unable to give proof of refund and said to expect 30 days for refund to appear, it’s been past the 30 days and still no refund. Upon reaching out to company to check “status” of refund, we no longer received a reply. This company is a SCAM.

Very executive!! They call to remind you of your appointment and check on you frequently. They have a free shuttle service to and from the airport. Once you get to the very clean office, they offer waters and phenomenal customer service. Highly recommend and I will use this company next time I’m in this area!

Great car rental experience! They called me as soon as my plane landed and the shuttle was already waiting for me. They ask for flight information to provide best service. They were very friendly and professional. The cars were really nice too. Great service! I highly recommend!

always a pleasure renting here. John is doing a great job running this place. clean, professional, prompt, great cars, great price. easy access in and out. Not crazy overloaded like the main lot with all the combined rentals would be. At home feel. Courteous drivers, even complimentary water on shuttle. will continue to use them again and again.

I rented a car at the Detroit Metro Airport location. The man who helped me (Carlos) was very helpful with the car rental process. Quick and easy. They called me twice to confirm my arrival time and give me directions to the shuttle pick up location. I literally walked up to the stop and the van pulled to the curb, opened the door, and drove me straight to the rental location. I was driving away in my rental less than 30 minutes from when I landed. Amazing!

Carlos was great! Excellent customer service, friendly and went above and beyond. Actually from the shuttle pickup to getting into the car it was 5 stars all around. I will definitely rent from them again!

This is my second rental experience with Executive Car Rental. I will be using them ever time I fly in to Detroit. Morgan call me confirm my reservation the day of and to explain what to do when I arrived ( I was still on the plane). When I landed I got another call from John confirming the reservation and also letting me know that someone will be their to pick me up shortly. Then the real magic begins. When I arrived, Morgan was my car rep and explained everything to me like a professional should. I was able to get all the extra protection that we all NEED when renting a car. I will be renting their vehicle for 11 days - and even be being a great NYC driver!!! Things happen that are out of our control . So for $9.99 a day I got the deductible protection and for a flat $39 I got the gas refill package . Worth every nickel. So I’m giving them 10 stars!! I’m a salesperson and I’m all about white glove service with my clients.. Executive Car Rental wins my business ever time.
