This Kroger is horrible. Shout out specifically to the butcher at the Kroger who according to numerous shoppers I've had is lazy and doesn't like to do his job. Today's performance was that they no longer sell filet mignon at that location. Interesting. The last time he tried to tell me that I called and found out he was lying. Doesn't seem like someone who likes working.

I can't cash a hand written payroll check. So I'm going to the Kroger on 13 and Gratiot where I've never had a problem.

Bill the store manage there is a complete jerk, he treats his employees like garbage and talks down to them and completely disrespects them while playing favoritism to others. He deserves to be let go and not work with this company, he harasses some employees and he treats people unfairly. He's scumbag .He has no consideration for anybody else other than himself and who is favorites are and could care less about the work home life balance. He seems to be the type that was picked on as a youngster and is now taking it out on people because he feels he's an position of authority. If Kroger sees this let him go he doesn't deserve to work there and Kroger needs to do something about him. It's funny to read all these negative reviews, because most of the people writing them don't use proper punctuation.( let alone make any sense when they're trying to explain their experience) However I agree with them. Always a horrible experience at Kroger ,and the company has gone down the drain over the last 10 years at least.

Place is turning into a bad experience almost every time I go. And especially the self checkouts. The attendant, man is the worst help if your machine stops working he goes the other direction and always avoiding people that have the same questions. Rude. And their milk is usually empty when or out of the type I need. Just like Walmart's in Roseville. Don't waste your time.

My neighborhood Kroger is a standout grocery store, largely due to its exceptional staff. The team's unwavering friendliness and personable approach create a welcoming atmosphere. Whether assisting with inquiries or offering a warm greeting at the checkout, the staff consistently go above and beyond. It's not just a place to shop; it feels like a community where the employees genuinely care. This level of customer service elevates the overall shopping experience, making my visits to Kroger both efficient and enjoyable. One thing they could do better is control the people begging for money and the trash on the side of the building

Not sure how anyone can shop here, nothing ever rings up correctly and you're constantly over charged. I decided against my better judgement to stop in for the first time in months and purchase one item clearly signed $2.69, buy 5 and get them for $1.69. Well guess what... yep I grabbed six of them, rang them up and they rang at 2.69, so I left them at the register then went to Meijer and got pork chops on sale for $1.99 a pound and hamburger 2 for $4.00 and a few other great deals and guess what, they all rang up correctly.

When this Kroger first opened, it was great and always was clean and organized. Fast forward 7 years later and idk what the hell happen. The Deli is hardly ever open when we go to the grocery store. When it is open there are only 1/2 people working and a line of 5 or more people waiting to get our cold cuts. Today there were 8 of us in line and we waited for over 30 minutes to get our deli selections. The store is not very organized and hasn't been for a while. But guessing they got a new store manager, because they have been moving everything around, making the isles more narrow and making it hard to find anything. So while it's a bit longer drive. We typically go to the St. Clair shores or warren Kroger now.

I never go through the regular check out anymore because I have learned that most of their sale prices and digital prices are not in their computers. I do them one at a time in the u-scan and usually have to call the supervisor over four or five times because of incorrect prices. They advertise them on sale but you don’t always get that price when you leave the store. Only one time, and it was only a couple of months ago, in the last few years did I get out of there with no corrections at all. It takes a few extra minutes to do it myself but I get the sale prices and save the money and that is why I go there anyways.

This is the worst Krogers ever! Let’s start off with the number that is listed. Call the store number…..hummm nobody answers, recording keeps assisting your calling pharmacy. As for customer service, relating to self check area. Last night 30 minutes to closing. Self checking out, item I had wasn’t scamming the right price. I was forced to go back and get the sales tag. I went came back it was another favor on sale. Not a problem! Easy exchange I thought ?. I had Ms Lydia check my rescanned item so I could proceed with my transaction. When it was time to cash out. The machine wasn’t moving forward. So I called and worker who was randomly passing; to assist with me purchasing my items. The machine starts showing and video, as if I just put and I scammed item in my bag. However the item that was ALREADY confirmed scammed. This worker and the fat lady named “Nicole” starts insulting me and accusing me of stealing! How the hell am I even trying to sell. When I am using self check, right next to the cash register. This situation did not turn out well at all. You have the fat Empolyee threatening me and saying religious insults. And too be honest, I got right back with her and could careless about authorities being called. I work customer service and I know by LAW! You don’t accuse, assume or have insulted verbal conversations with NO Customer! And FYI: nobody is legally stealing “INLESS” they have actually walked out the door. I want too submitt and written reply to Head Corporate Office! I want loss and prevention too replay the video. This will prove how unprofessional, insulting and insensitive behaviors this Krogers continues too display.

This place has the absolute worst, laziest, and most confrontational deli staff imaginable. Always rude. Always out of everything. Closes early and seemingly whenever they please. The store and deli are poorly managed. They genuinely act like you’re bothering them.Nobody wants to work and retailers are stuck hiring subpar employees out of desperation. Customers and quality takes the hit. After a dozen visits I won’t go here ever again. The Kroger on 9 Mile & Harper is superior.

We were very shocked at the behavior of the woman behind the bakery counter at about 11:30 a.m. Thursday September 14th. She ignored 3 customers and finally gruffly told them she didn't work in the bakery & walked away. Now I know that isn't usual behavior at the new Kroger's & it's why I gave the time & date so the woman could be sanctioned & even fired!

The ladies working the deli on Sunday are USELESS!!!!!! they don't understand stand fractions. You tell them the amount you want they tell you they don't know what that means. Tell them MULTIPLE TIMES, SLICED THIN!!!!!!!! They can't do that either. Shame on management for not properly training these employees. They shouldn't be working in the deli. They would be off stocking shelves.
