Update: When picking up my car I mentioned my dissatisfaction of what took place and Ben did everything that he could to make it right. He called around to other Enterprises looking for something comparable but they were already taken. He ended up discounting my reservation and said we could always try back to those places over the weekend to swap out. However, we would already be on our way and that just wouldn't work. I appreciate Ben trying to make it right which is why I'm changing how many stars I'm giving. He was very professional, very polite understanding and I just found that to be exceptional customer service and refreshing since it's so hard to find great customer service anymore. Thank you, Ben! If more companies had employees that represented their place of employment, the way that Ben represented Enterprise, there would be happier customers. I still believe Enterprise should not be advertising something that they really do not carry and if they're going to be out of what they do, have to update their records as soon as possible. This was a special occasion and we wanted something nice.I booked a vehicle several weeks ago. A premium full size Infinity QX80 or something comparable only for this company to call me today at 1:50 pm, 25 hours before all of my family is here that they don't have that vehicle and they don't carry them but they have a Lincoln Nautilus that's comparable. They closed at 5:00. Not knowing that it wasn't comparable and also in the middle of my work day I said that would be fine. It wasn't until later when I was able to get online and check I realized the vehicles are not comparable. The Nautilus only seats five. What am I going to do now? They didn't even offer a discount.

So while already dealing with the stress of my vehicle that I loved being stolen, dealing with Enterprise rent a car in Royal Oak, Mi on Woodward Ave has made the experience far much worse than I could have ever imagined. If I could go back in time I would have chosen ANY other car rental companies. Being that during the duress of my vehicle being stolen my insurance company made the initial reservation at this location. That being said it has been one unrealistic headache after another with them. Too much to list. BE AWARE!!!! Of all my experiences ever dealing with a rental car company this one has completely disgusted me with its pathetic attempt at customer service.

Ben and Lexi are SO kind and professional. I was getting my car repaired a couple of miles away. They have a contract with the repair shop and offered special rates. Felt like a VIP the way they treated me...easeful and stress free. They offered to drive me and pick me up from the repair place. In the future I will only rent a car from this place. Great job guys! Thank you. Five stars.

I called at 4:50 PM because I wanted to ensure I could get a pickup tomorrow at 9:00 AM before booking the reservation. I followed the automated prompts to talk with a local representative. They answered the phone and asked if I could hold, and I said sure. After 6 minutes, I got nervous about them closing, so I hung up and called back. Again someone answered, asked "can I please hold?" to which I said, "actually, I just need a second" but was put on hold anyways mid-sentence.After 25 minutes of being on hold (now 5:20 PM, I’m realizing the local workers just didn’t want to take a call from someone 10 minutes before they close, so they put me on hold and just left to rot until I decided to hang up. Pretty horrible customer service, which is ironic considering I spent 25 minutes listening to the recording over and over "at Enterprise, we love going the extra mile...always standing by…we simply treat our customers the way they should be treated”…

Got a fragrance free rental vehicle but waited 2 months to get it. Cleaning products aren't fragrance free even though 23% of people need this. Website was wrong about no after hours drop off. It is here. Good customer service. One way parking but no enter here sign.
