I am a fan of this small credit union. I have only been a member for six months and yet everyone knows me already. The service is quick and prompt, and they are always happy to help you with any additional requests. The staff is very attentive. They are always sure to bring anything of importance regarding my accounts to my attention, (maturing CD's, etc.) Lynn E

I’ve been with Genisys since 2018 and I have had the best experience banking here. Recently, Maria helped me with my loan process and it was a pleasant experience and she was very helpful throughout.

Horrible service … no one answers at the branch no matter what time of the day you call.I applied for a loan haven’t heard a word back in three days. Can’t get a hold of anyone and the loan officer won’t return my call

When you pick a Credit Union - AVOID THIS ONE!! I did not join this CU. They bought out my FRIENDLY local CU and I was forced to be a member. I will be looking for a new credit union today. For the first time last Friday I used my phone too deposit a check from the State of Michigan for my Workers Compensation which is already 40% less my normal pay. Normally I use Chase bank and the next day the "hold" is gone from the ATM deposit. TODAY IS WEDNESDAY 5/10 and the HOLD is still on my pay check!!!!! I emailed them on Saturday and still NO RESPONSE. Monday I used the CHAT link and the PISS POOR representative said "It can be 2-6 business days." Are you serious? I told them if the STATE OF MICHIGAN goes broke we are all in trouble!! Ended my chat thinking a good CSR will fix this on my behalf. NO! Genisys hires assholes to deal with customers....

After banking with Genisys for 10 years, this bank still fails to be of any assistance when I need financial services. I've never once even over-drafted an account with Genisys, yet anytime I've needed a loan, its been nothing but problems (even with 720+ credit). This latest time, they refused to loan me a sum that is less than half of what I allow them to keep in their institution. Upon trying to understand why and ultimately close my account, it took hours upon hours of phone tag and false information. Avoid this bank at all costs, they will not help you. I will advise my family members to abandon this institution as well.

I work in the service industry so I always have cash to deposit. Every time I go there after business hours the atm tells me I can't deposit cash. It's very frustrating
