A department store in the slowly dying Oakland Mall. Clothing, home goods, some jewelry...Less and less inventory on each visit, but still clean and neat and arranged to cover the smaller variety.Staff is nice. They have the WWII employee service member plaque taken from the original flagship store for Hudsons when it was torn down

I have spent the last three hours trying to find out where this package is at. I'm being told that delivery was attempted. I have cameras all over my house and nobody ever approached my house. I was told to follow the instructions on the note left on the door to obtain my package, of course after no one ever approached my house to attempt delivery there was no note left if you'd like to waste your time, go ahead and order for me please if not, I buy all my clothes from Kohl's and should've never given Macy's a chance

I went there to buy a rug for my home. After being there for approximately 45 minutes without getting any help we decided to leave. I ended up going to Costco where I bought a beautiful rug for considerably less money than I was prepared to spend at Macy's.

We went to the Macy's at the Oakland Mall for a sale they were having on mattresses. Very few customers and sales help was hard to find. We had found what we wanted but had some additional questions that could not be answered that evening and the sale ended that night. We were told by our sales representative ,Janice, that they would honor the sale price and she said she worked the next day and could close the deal then . We returned the next day to find out she was not scheduled to work until the day after that. We called the next day and talked with her and she said to come on in. We drove in that night to be told by Janice that they would not honor the sale price. She could have told us over the phone to save us a trip but did not. It is no wonder that there are no customers.

This store was a huge mess. Looked like a bomb went off. I worked retail in NYC and you couldn't leave the floor until everything was in order.

At this time of year it's important for us to shop local malls and businesses in person. I know it's easier to shop online however I remember the days when stores were packed with shoppers, lines were long and the noise sometimes was to loud. Now today stepping into Macy's I felt an overwhelming sadness because there was hardly any shoppers.

I was looking to buy some Polo shirts from here. There is a huge selection from this store. Nothing spectacular that caught my eye. You are better off using their online site to get some good deals. You can get up to 15 to 20 percent off your purchase.

Why can’t you have more registers open? I want to buy something but do I want to wait 1/2 hour in line? No. This store is absolutely pathetic and I’ll definitely just shop somewhere else next time I need anything.

Absolutely AWFUL experience purchasing furniture from Macy’s. I waited 16 weeks for my custom order sectional to come, when delivered a piece was completely soaked and dirty. Now I’m told I have to wait 25 weeks for a replacement. And I’m getting charged another delivery fee which I was not told about. And I called to get service on the pieces that I do have and they’ve rescheduled me 3 times. Do not recommend purchasing furniture from here ever.

These pandemic rules are stupid and petty. So lemme get this straight. I can TOUCH the clothing allllllllllll I want and touch the escalator and touch the hangers but I can't try on a sweater neither in the mirror or in a fitting room. Fifteen months ago I could have full blown aids and no one would care but now that there's a virus that kills 3 in 1000...... Funny how ppl are looking all over for an associate to help them literally calling out HELLO HELLO but I try an article on and boom associate appears. Add this location to the list of closing Macy's

I went out to get a Birthday gift I was looking for a purse. I don't even know how to explain this, The store was a complete on organized disaster which is acceptable for a store like Macy's!! It look more like Burlington Coat Factory!!! When you are spending $200 to $300 on one item. You just expect that the store would be nice clean and organized. The service was slow because there was only one person but I couldn't ask for a nicer lady she was very professional and helpful. I felt bad for her we had some small talk and she just let me know that they were constantly shortstaffed she was supposed to be off at 4o'clock and it was now 730 and she says this happens. My expectations for Macy's he's always been high especially in service and quality. I haven't been there in a long time maybe that's changed. I'm still blown away and how dirty the store was, the carpeting was completely filthy and it looks like no one has clean the glass cases in days. I know it's difficult to find people with with COVID-19 you think they would at least have the proper cleaning going on? It just makes me wonder. I was also surprised buying a expensive purse, Michael Kors that they didn't even have a box to put it in Just put into a plastic bag. I have never went purse shopping before but I guess next time I'll just go to a specialty store.

They really changed around the departments here. I think it's great that they have a significant section for plus sizes.I wasn't able to find the sweaters I was looking for my mom. The first floor with mostly casual clothing. The dressier clothing for women were on the second floor. We ended up finding something suitable for my mother. The women's clothing areas seem to be rather disorganized. At least they have kept the men's clothing down in the basement or ground floor. I wasn't able to find any scarves. There's small sections of bombs scattered everywhere. Some by the purses, some by the kids section. We were able to find any other ones.
