I've been going to the Eagan Duckwood Great Clips for 3-ish years now and I cannot recommend Kim highly enough. She's skilled, careful, and efficient, yet takes her time to give a good haircut. I have had my hair cut by the other stylists there but I'm always extra glad when I am assigned to Kim. Even when I come in with very little instruction beyond how fed up I happened to be with my current hairstyle, I am always pleased with her cuts - and they look even better the next day when my hair has had some time to relax. In the past, I used to go to Coles Salon on Pilot Knob (and always had a great experience there, too), but thought I would try Great Clips because it was more economical. Absolutely glad I did.

Horrible place.I’m sorry but the lady that cut my hair (Mrs. Lao) was horrible. She was so old and weak that she couldn’t even hold the trimmer straight.I wanted to give her some slack/empathy because of her age but both trimming with the machine and hand cuts were so very bad. Can’t explain how bad the experience was.And all the ladies that cut here finish up every client in 10 minutes. So you can imagine how dedicated they were.The worst “Great Clips” ever.Please avoid this place.

It’s fine, gets the job done. The reason for one less star, is because I brought my 3yr old daughter there and was asked to stand in the waiting area while she cut her hair. I’m not sure the reason why? If I would be in the way (which I find hard to believe as the salon is open and spacious)? The lady who cut my daughter’s hair was not the friendliest person, a bit cold and looked as if she didn’t want to be there.One thing I think is great however, is the convenience and ease of scheduling appts online. The salon was clean and organized and in good shape. It was simply the one employee that might need training on good customer service or how to be joyful ?

My hair cut was great. But why would you be open on Christmas eve. Who gets there hair cut on Christmas eve. Pretty sure no one. Absolutely selfish will you be the one working that day? I bet not. You probably have a great Christmas day planned with your family. Maybe think about your employee's family's Christmas because they deserve it think about it its only one time a year. Merry Christmas

Love this location stylist is very friendly; location wise have been re innovated recently its so similar like before. To pricing its getting quite expensive due to many year price on the rise for hourly wages. Would be visiting this location often; downside is can be very very busy on peak hours and on weekends.

This was my first time at this location, and I went in to get a trim, fix up my layers and get bangs. The lady who helped me ended up giving me short hair, uneven layers and unfinshed bangs. There was a lot of miscommunication between her and I because when I tired to speak up, I was made uncomfortable. I was on the verge of tears before I was able to get some help from the manager. The manager attempted to fix my hair but it didn't help that much. I am now left with a hair cut I am not happy with. I will not be coming here again.

I get that it is a discounted service compared to other local salons but the word “salon” is used lightly. I simply wanted a trim, 1.5 inches or so cut off. Instead, i get not even an inch cut off (they only did the top layers of my hair fyi, the bottom is longer than the top), my hair sprayed down with a water bottle while not even getting all of my hair wet. The stylist used this flimsy comb to force my hair apart (i have thick hair) and it made me tear up because of how hard they were pulling my hair. The conversations made it very evident they did not want to be there. They never measured anything and when asked if i wanted a blow dry, it resulted in my hair being blown in my face making it become very tangled then the stylist proceeds to take the drape off saying i was done. My hair was so tangled and all of the place, it looked like i had just gotten out of bed. They then proceeded to make (more like force) me to buy a $20 product with my $20 haircut. Like i said, i get they provide the basic services at a reasonable price but while the basic services are there, basic service is extremely lacking. The store itself was drab and disgusting with hair every where and stations that were very clearly dirty. Never will i go back and i plan on returning the shampoo that is glorified, overpriced generic shampoo in a circular bottle. Absolutely ridiculous and upsetting.Service: Haircut
