I was at Sunnyside Gardens yesterday looking for hydrangea plants and had no idea what I was doing - so many different varieties and sizes.
A woman from Sunnyside, named Sue, came up to me and asked if I needed some help. She couldn't have been nicer - she stayed with me for at least 20 to 30 minutes helping me find what I needed and then loaded them on my cart.
I've always been pleased with the quality of their plants as well as their customer service. This is Sue's first year at Sunnyside, although she's been in this business for a number of years and is very knowledgeable.
She is a perfect fit for them and they are lucky to have her - although I bet they already know that.

Sunnyside Gardens truly is the place to go if you're shopping in Minneapolis! I stopped in for some mums, and was greeted immediately and directed towards what I was looking for! While I was shopping, an employee made sure to check in with me, and even gave some advice on what bloom level of mum would be best for me! Trill is also filled with plenty of goodies and stocking stuffers! Super excited to go back

We hired the Sunnyside crew for fall cleanup and to wrap arborvitae on our property. They went above and beyond, wrapping one of our young trees that deer recently damaged. Thank you for the excellent service!

This is a gem of a place. It's lovely and the staff are so very helpful, knowledgeable and willing to help with questions. This is my go to garden place a few times a year and I am never disappointed!

Sunny side is my favorite place to go for plants. It's just a joy to be there and see all that they have to offer. Their staff are super helpful and I make it a tradition to get all of my seasonal plants, holiday decor and even perennials there.

Highly recommend Sunnyside Gardens. They have the best selection of plants, containers and landscape products. The staff is really helpful and knowledgeable. Trill has the best gifts in town and is always my first stop if I need a gift. Sunnyside never disappoints!

Love this place! I never go home empty handed. Best garden center in the area, and I've tried all of them. They have a great selection of plants and ready-made pots, and their boutique Trill always has great gifts.

Consistently the best quality and selection for spring, summer and fall flowers. Unusual, elegant and unique selections for indoor and outdoor planters and flower boxes. Their home goods and decor is epic! Trill is my first stop always for birthday, housewarming and holiday gifts. Simply the best!

They sold me three different pine trees, one of which I now know isn't even designated for our zone. When it died, Sarah told us there was no return policy on this pine tree as it isn't designated for our cold winters. When I told her that I was confused about why they would sell them then, she backtracked and said people buy the pine trees as annuals. Annuals?! Over the course of two years, the other two died as well because of our cold winters and yet again, Sarah was of no help.

I wanted to leave some positive feedback from a recent visit. My husband and I came to Sunnyside for new plants for our garden. We asked Toni a question about locating a certain plant and it blossomed (pun intended) into a great conversation about what plants would/would not work in our garden based on sun exposure, spacing, and aesthetics. She even helped select plants based on our vision of the garden and layout. She was absolutely incredible to speak with and couldn’t have more helpful or friendly. I hope this feedback reaches her manager or supervisor because she deserves some recognition.
