Cute mall close to home. They have the stores most bigger malls have. Lots of teenagers walking around on weekends but that's to be expected. Went to Sephora and VS.

Another review. The upkeep of this mall has really gone downhill. They removed all the live plants. They have had a broken water main for close to three weeks. The parking lot still needs a ton of work. The directories inside don't work. The escalators work sometimes. The back hallways are dirty and slippery. And now.... Someone smoking marijuana the mall.It would be nice if they opened the doors to regular mall hours and let in mall walkers at 8:00 am.

After visiting the Pronto Pups truck at Boom Island Brewing Company earlier this month, I didn't have anything planned the first Saturday that I was back in the Twin Cities. It was my first time in Minnetonka, so I played things by ear.I did need a place to find a Vikings t-shirt. I thought that Dick's Sporting Goods would be perfect. I did a search and the closest store was at Ridgedale Center. I drove over to shop at this store. This mall has a lot of parking. I pulled into a spot and headed over to Dick's. Well, that was the original plan. I saw a pink truck nearby and decided to check it out.The mall had a Hello Kitty Cafe popup store in a pink bus. I had never seen or heard of it before. I decided to line up. I ended up getting a Hello Kitty key chain, tote, a set of two pins, and a set of sugar cookies in Sanrio characters (Keroppi, My Melody, and Hello Kitty). I stood in line for maybe two hours. It was a warm day and it was well worth it.I headed over to the mall to finally check it out. I found a Chatime as an island stand. I passed by it three times during my entire shopping excursion:- I needed a washroom and passed by Chatime the first time. The women's washroom was clean and inviting. No complaints.- I wanted bubble tea the second time. There was a sign saying that orders wouldn't be taken for the next fifteen minutes. I shopped some more.- An hour later, I returned and got my bubble tea fix.My favourite find at this mall was Urban Outfitters. It was my first time hitting this store at a mall. Staff were so friendly. I oddly ended up getting a Sanrio t-shirt at this store and not at the popup. The nice, flamboyant man working at the dressing room look at my pink Hello Kitty bag and asked how the popup went. He was great.I found my Vikings t-shirt at Fan HQ. I love it. It has a ringer neck and is super comfy to wear. Mission accomplished!I didn't hit the food court. However, I finally at dinner at Big Bowl. It has been around the Twin Cities for probably a couple of decades at least. However, I never went there when I lived in the state because I pretty much avoided Chinese restaurants. I made Chinese food at home, so why get some when I could try other cuisines? I loved my time at this eatery.I finally visited Dick's on my way out. It's a huge two-floor store. It had a rock-climbing wall that looked impressive.It had Wild, Vikings, and Twins apparel. There wasn't anything that I wanted, likely because I get my Wild merchandise at the Hockey Lodge and I just got my Viking t-shirt. I still don't own any Twins apparel, though.I loved this mall. It was a cool find and I enjoyed spending a few hours on a Saturday exploring it. I'd return for Urban Outfitters alone.(420)

June 2022, it's just the beginning of summer, but it's been an extremely hot one! My friends and I wanted to exercise, yet stay cool, so on this Sunday, we decided to walk Ridgedale Center. This mall is an excellent place to walk to shelter from extreme weather, which we get living in Minnesota, both hot and cold. We took advantage of the spaciousness, used the stairs going both up and down, and we got a pretty good workout! In between, we got healthy treats at Jamba Juice and did some window shopping as well. There still isn't a food court, and the eateries are spread out, but that adds a nice charm to the mall.
