We had the burgers and they were awesome! Great customer service too. They delivered to our hotel and even made a special trip back to bring us mustard. Top notch food and service! Definitely recommend them!

Remembering our visit from a few days ago, and so glad we drove here from Benson--this place has a great atmosphere, cool paintings and friendly staff. Our food was amazing, from a modified menu. Su's soup of the day was a chicken quinoa with lemongrass, very tasty and delicate, with wilted superfood greens--deliciousness! My avocado toast had the perfect amount of crispy and creamy, and then I indulged in a side order of curry fries--freshly made with tempura coating and curry aioli. Add a great conversation with the owners and you'll have the most excellent time!What are you waiting for? Get moving!

I've had many dishes here including the burger, steak, barbecue, and pasta. They've all been delicious. The atmosphere is wonderful. There are jazz nights, trivia nights, and silent book reading club gatherings. The desserts are extremely good as well.

Stopped in for Sunday brunch to see what Stone’s Throw Cafe was all about. So cute! Love the atmosphere, food was excellent and staff was attentive. Can’t wait to go back to Morris to have dinner and drinks here!

Disappointing experience. We were told right away that they were understaffed, which on trivia night is not a good omen. We had a toddler with us, so we ordered his food right away along with an appetizer while we tried to decide what to order for ourselves. We eventually got our waters and stuck with that. Our little guy was hangry, but we were able to keep him preoccupied most of the time with the toys and books available in the front waiting area. Eventually, our appetizer arrived but we were told that the kid meal ticket was lost, so they had to put that order back in, so more waiting. We had ordered fruit to go with his meal, and that never came out. Our waitress also never asked what he wanted to drink, which was included in the cost of his meal. We ordered onion rings, which ended up being a very small plate, although delicious, was way overpriced for the portions. The kids Mac and cheese eventually came out and he ate some of it, but we then waited even longer for our food to come out, while our little guy got more antsy and wanting to leave. We had been out of water for a good 20 minutes before we finally got a refill, about the time our food came. At this point, we'd be there over an hour, so we just asked for boxes so we could get back to the hotel and eat there. I ordered a dip sandwich and wasn't able to take the au jus home with us. The sandwich was good, but my wife didn't care for her pasta. Overall, I get the long wait, but some basic things were missed on the service. They did comp our kids meal and app, which was appreciated, and we'll consider going back at some point, but it was a big disappointment after reading all the great reviews.

Atmosphere was wonderful. Enjoyed my lunch and those FRENCH FRIES with homemade Ketchup and Ranch. Amazing and Yum Num. I would recommend it and go back for the just french fries. Thank you.

I can't believe it took me this long to come to Stone's Throw! The service was awesome! They were understaffed because of the blizzard, so they had the owner taking orders, and she was awesome, helpful, and extremely friendly! I really appreciate that they are understanding of their employees that can't make it in to work with bad weather, and are willing to roll with the punches. Trivia was a blast, and it seemed like everyone in there were friends and so welcoming. The food was delicious! I really appreciate the warm atmosphere, and friendly faces!

Wonderful meal, good beer and wine selection. Menu offers a variety of cuisines and flavors in addition to staples of steak and salmon. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area.

The place was not to busy, we waited 1.5 hours to get our food. 3 tables came after us, they all were done eating before we got our food. When I asked about where our food was they had no answer but the kitchen is busy. If they would have explained what happened either the waitress forgot to put our food order in, or the kitchen lost it.... we would be more understanding... food was ok at best when we did get it. would not reccomend going here, and I will not go back....

Great service! Yummy food. I recommend trying the bahn mi for something different. Prices were spot on with the quality and quantity of food. We loved the upscale, yet comfortable atmosphere. Recommended!

What an amazing experience! They opened early to accommodate our travel schedule, and provided an delicious variety of breakfast options. They took special care to provide options that were vegetarian, gluten-free, and non-dairy. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend the Stone’s Throw Café to any sports team on the road.

I went to college here almost 30 years ago; I was back in town visiting, and Stone's Throw is a fantastic addition to the dining options in Morris. There certainly wasn't any place like this there back then. The food and ambiance are both outstanding. I liked my dinner so much on Sat night that I came back for the brunch on Sunday. The owner made me an omelette to order: he had a wide variety of ingredients so your omelette can be as normal or weird as you like. Delicious! Full bar, nice selection of beers on tap, great place to just hang out, too.

Absolutely fantastic food and service. The menu has a wide variety of options to meet the needs of carnivores, vegetarians, and gluten/dairy free people like me. If you’ve got a hankering for a burger and fries or a big bowl of fettuccine alfredo, you’ll find it here. If you want a healthy gourmet salad, you can also find it here. They have a nice wine and beer menu too. I would give this restaurant 5 stars for their gourmet food and excellent service.
