The renovations are incredible and the facility is bright and clean. But the staff? Oh the staff is incredible. Jessica R took such good care of me when a group or friends went with me to donate for my birthday. And we laughed and will certainly be back again!

Easy, quick and friendly. Give blood now, they make it so hassle free.

I usually have a good experience with friendly techs. Beware Rhonda the redhead. Maybe she was having a bad day, however she was not inviting, didn't ask the typical questions like if I'm allergic to anything, and treated me as if I was an inconvenience to her.

If they had as many phlebtomists as they have people calling to donate, there wouldn't be a never-ending blood shortage. Incredibly long wait times due to understaffing of phlebotomists. Welcome staff was aloof and on the phone and multiple other staff appeared to be restocking the refrigerator and other supplies.

This branch is significantly nicer than the Minneapolis one. Its spacious, has a nice canteen, and a pleasant staff.

The worst place to be. Poor supervisors, Kathy Morehouse is rude, unprofessional, fake ,no skills person. Beth Rosental is so unfair and unprofessional. Glad that they are out. They like to discriminate people.

Some of the notes people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. This was my first Platelets donation so I was rightfully a little nervous. But the people I worked with made me feel so comfortable. They were very attentive, helped me through my slight reaction to their anticoagulant. Made me wanna come back.

My husband already didn't want to donate because he hates wearing masks. I talked him into it because his blood can go to babies & not everyone's can. But the lady at the desk was so rude that we both decided not to donate. My husband came a little early & right when he was there, he was asked to leave. My husband asked if she could ask if he could donate early & she wouldn't ask. She sounded very rude & just kept repeating herself. This was on 8/3 at 4:45pm. We don't know her name. But I've chosen not to reschedule. There's never any appointments in the app. On the phone it's taken 30 minutes 3 times. Last month they said I had an appointment, but then I found out they never scheduled it. I was going to cancel anyhow since I went to Yellow Stone. The month before it got canceled because of the riots. I would reschedule if it wasn't so hard. It just doesn't seam like they need our blood when they are rude when we try & donate & it's hard to schedule an appointment. If the lady today had said I'm sorry because of Covid we can't have anyone early & we can't have extra people in the building than my husband wouldn't of been so upset. But I really don't see why she couldn't of asked if he could go early. She could of told him to wait outside & call him if he can come early. They lost 2 donations today. One for babies. I'm not going to rebook at another location unless the app works which it hasn't in the past. I doubt I can convenience him to go now because he didn't feel appreciated.

I've donated whole blood at this location a handful of times and it's almost always been a positive experience. Most of the people I've encountered who are staff and volunteers are really friendly and do whatever they can to make you feel comfortable. This ARC location is a little tricky to find the first time you go - just make sure you go into the parking lot with entrances on Plato Boulevard and not Robert Street. The blood donation center is not in the same building as the admin building, and I got a little lost the first time I went. This location is not without its flaws. The check-in process can be confusing if you're new to the location or have never donated blood. Sometimes, you're greeted by someone as you walk in and they'll tell you what to do; other times you do a self-check-in with a laptop sitting at the reception desk. Appointments generally seem to start on time, though I've had to wait 10-15 minutes after the start of my scheduled appointment for someone to acknowledge me. There is also a wide range of experience-level when it comes to phlebotomists. Usually, I encounter phlebotomists who could probably find a vein with their eyes closed. On another occasion, I think I encountered someone on their first day.

The nurse at this site found veins on first try, and I'm happy I completed a full aphorisms donation in years! It's not fun, and I've had my share of discomfort, but it's nothing like what I've seen friends with cancer endure. If I can do aphoresis, anybody can do it!

Clean, fast, and open all the time for appointments. The staff are great, and make the blood withdrawing process easy.

Ack. Scheduled for 6pm. I arrived at 5:40 as a courtesy to everyone. Didn't get finished with the simplest donation til 8:30pm.

set appt for 7pm and called ahead and asked if it would be okay if i was 10 mins late, they said i had a 15 min grace period to reach my appt. upon arriving at 7:06 i was rejected right away. the laziness of the workers here is literally costing lives. i will not come back here to give again, I’ve been finding community hosted events to give where my blood is appreciated and given to those in need.

This is a very kind team. They are there to make sure you are comfortable and the process is very easy going for many people.
