Brought in a cassette deck for repair last Fall, knowing some of the reviews about long delays and lack of communication. Owner seemed friendly and welcoming, and upon me explaining what needed to be fixed with the deck, I was given a claims tag and a promise that I'd get an invoice/estimate via email in 2 weeks. 2 weeks passed, and nothing of note was in my email. Eventually I got a reply with an estimated cost, not any form of official invoice, and since then I have not heard a thing about my equipment, even after following up recently to ask about the status of the repair.I'm lucky this was not a piece of equipment that was vital to have operable by now, anyone who wasn't aware of their questionable business practices would be screwed over at this point. PLEASE do not drop off your equipment here unless it's known that they've gotten their act together.

Really helpful, friendly guys who fixed our Roland digital piano for a reasonable price. The two reasons they don't get five stars is that service takes several weeks and that parking is a bit of a nightmare (especially if you're picking up /dropping off at rush hour like we had to).

The pro audio repair shop for the stars. I've brought many musical electronics to them over the years and they've always been able to repair them at a reasonable price.

Mark is a genius! While one must be patient as the line of work is long, it is totally work the wait as the work done is spectacular, and the prices very fair. I highly recommend Mark and the Good Guys for all your electronic repair needs!

They did good work on my amp, however it took a few months. I understand they are a busy shop and they have a lot to do like anyone in the repair market, especially a niche market like guitar amps. Could be a little clearer on communication but over all good guys

I help at a church in Minneapolis and we were having issues with our sound equipment. They tested our equipment and found the problem pretty quickly. They had our zone box repaired and working great in less than a week during the holiday season. Thanks guys!

I brought in my Yamaha keyboard 7 months ago. I initially told them I'd let them do the repairs since at max it would take a month to order parts if needed. Since I left my keyboard there that day, I've talked to them twice, and on both occasion, they've stated that it's almost done. I've called at least 20-30 times, no one will ever pick up your calls. Til this day I still don't have an update on if my keyboard is lost stolen, broken beyond repair, or if it'll ever be fixed. My advice is to avoid this place at all costs. In all my years, I've never ever dealt with a business like this. Zero communication, 7 months in and no updates on my instrument.

Total disrespect. They disrespected my time, me equipment and me personally. I brought them a piece of equipment 6 months ago, 6!! They didn't work on if the first 4-5 months and just left it while they did other stuff. Also, they called back and emailed back only ever 5 or 6 emails leaving me totally lost woth no communication. When it came time, they worked on it blindly without contacting the makers for schematics ot tips as it's a customer build device like I suggested. This Wasted tons of time and I'm build for that time. I get there to pay it 6 month later, and they tell me the cost is twice what I was quoted by just sending it back to the manufacturer. The person with poor hygene who worked on it told me my custom build and costly piece of equipment was shirty and crap and poorly made and that's why it took so long. I drove 40 minutes to get my item and discuss a partial reduction in the bill out of courtesy for making me wait 6 months and then charging a ludicrous amount of money for labor. When I arrived I told the person who makes such decisions is not there oh, they have no idea when he's returning, and that they will not help me get in touch with him. The person who worked on my device scoffed at the fact that I came from any distance and requested satisfaction we're being treated like s*** and given the runaround for 6 months. In short, save your money don't ever go to this place. I don't care if they work on unique things. You can find someone else who will be more timely, cost-effective, and have a little more decency, respect others, and self-respect do not be such scum.

Most unprofessional repair shop I've ever been to. They did manage to fix my SIEL DK600 synth, so there's that, but they told me it would be 3 weeks. 3 months and literally dozens of phone calls later and an employee finally picked up to tell me they would be working on my keyboard in the next week- they wouldn't look at it or call me back for ANOTHER 3 months. After very nearly 6 months, they opened up the synth and looked at it for the first time. They were d*** enough to tell me about the other "big jobs" they took after my synth that kept them from working on it. They charged me full price for the repair and were not even slightly apologetic about the absurd delay or total lack of communication. I will never bring a piece of gear here again, there are many other competent and professional repairmen in the cities, do not give the "good guys" your money.

Quaint little basement venue that adorns the corner of Lexington & Grand Avenue. The adjacent wall displays authentic albums of Prince Roger Nelson alongside a photo of the Icon & the Time.Local youthful gentleman offered detailed knowledgeable & generous advice on my antique KORG.We delightfully shared musical interests. Offered any assistance he could share.
