This place was awesome lived there for two years got more than a fair price. Fishing, swimming, bike path right out the back can’t beat it. Walking out for work in the morning at the lake side exit with a beautiful sunrise every time. Good restaurants a bike distance away. Fridge went out once and I had a replacement the same day. Got my whole deposit back besides 100$ since I didnt have the carpet cleaned which I was told to. Landlord was always quick to respond. Would highly recommend everyone to try life out on the lake, how can you complain about that..

Used to live at Lord Fletcher's and went there to visit a friend could not believe how run down and crappy that place looks, I don't know if they have anybody cleaning but it is just horrible and my friend says nothing ever gets done if your
apt needs work good luck. It's to bad because back in the day this place was taken good care of and it always looked nice not anymore. They call it the ghetto of spring park. And it's winter and my friend says the driveway never gets plowed not like it used to it was nice before he lost everyone that worked there.

Slum property! I went against friends recommendations to view the place strictly for the amazing views. Trash in the hallways, dirty pool, noisy hallways and the owner complains about how much the elevator costs to maintain, and while on the tour a tenant asked the owner a question and he kept walking an ignoring him. When the tenant found us again on the third floor the owners response was I’m way behind on paperwork I’ll get to it when I get to it. Basically wraps up the experience. Then owner was twice the deposit on a run down outdated unit just because it’s on the lake. Read all the other reviews, stay away from this place.

I second the last review. Owner kept my last month when I found a sub renter. Then after 30 days he sends half of my double deposit back had to almost threaten him to send the other half. Let’s just say he wouldn’t want to run into me in person.Gave them almost $5K to get into the apt. But then again Minnesotans are the first ones to call the same police they want to defund haha ?

Horrible experience all around. I don't recommend that you move into this apartment complex. If you have other options take it. The owner is a lazy millionaire who has done nothing to keep up with the buildings upkeep. He won't fix anything, he won't plow in the winter, he doesn't keep the pool running. He'll also keep your security deposit for no reason fyi.

Fair Housing lawsuit waiting to happen. The man we worked with has no idea what Fair Housing laws are… he’s a liability to himself and the owner of this place. If you expect to be treated fairly and within the limits of the law, STAY AWAY.

I loved living here and was fairly treated during that time. Then got completely shaken down for my security deposit. Had funds withheld despite leaving the apartment in better shape than it was when I arrived. My recommendation for anyone leaving here is get your unit in tip-top shape, document that you have done so, and then just don't pay the last month's rent. If needed, refer the management to the numerous reviews of people that did not get their deposit back. If I had the time I would be taking them to small claims court.

Amazing views on West Arm Bay. Most of the people who live here have lived here a very long time & are very social, so I refer to it as Melrose Place 2.You see fireworks from Lafayette Club Weddings or Wayzata in the Summer. My only problem with the place is that since it was built in the 70s, so they have wall air conditioning that costs a bit & the units are hot. Other than that, I love the neighbors, management, & my cute apartment that's a decent value with a view

Terrible management. Don't worry about getting your deposit back because you won't get it. Might as well think of it as giving away free money.

Quiet place. Amazing price for the location. A stern but very fair manager.

The Apartment are not that nice for how much rent they want they have no party room that's all they have is the lake and a out door pool. And when you need something fixed good luck it will take months or never will happen until you move out. I would not recommend to move in here, i have hard that other apt around here have much more for the money.

The people in the building are nice and the location is good if you want to be on the lake. The apartment's not terrible BUT don't expect to get anything fixed at all or quickly. First issue was it took 4 months to get an oven rack after many attempts- notes, talking to the property manager, etc. Second I contacted the property manager about our leaking shower for over 4 months and that didn't get looked at until our move out day. It was to the point the wall was starting to sink in which I told him more than once.If you get a package you have to go through the property manager to get it- again good luck! He likely won't return calls for days.He never completed an initial walk through with us again not a huge surprise as we soon discovered there was a lot that wasn't ever done. But this was not helpful in the move out as we were charged for pre-existing issues.Overall if under different management I may have stayed another year but I would not suggest living there at this time. It is TERRIBLE for getting anything fixed in even a somewhat timely manner. (If you have a problem expect to wait months and have to discuss multiple times) The only other point is if you like privacy this building may not be for you. The manager will come in to your unit to fix non-emergency issues without posting notice. If you don't mind that it wouldn't be an issue. My new place is wonderful and I am very relieved to have moved! Feels much better to have a landlord that seems to care about the building and tenants and will fix issues right away.
