This is on of the worst bank on the face of the planet. We mobile deposited a tax return check into the account and it said we should have our funds the next day witch is really nice being we have thing that have to be paid Monday. Then at 10 pm the night, we deposited the check I got a email saying your fund wont be available till next Thursday. So we call to find out why and were told it was because they need to make sure the check wasn't going to bounce. If that check bounced we have a lot more problems. The lady we talked two was not helpfull at all and sounded like a broken record. This is not the first time this has happened to use they first said it was because it was our first deposit over $500 witch is fine I guess and I was told this would never happen again.
Anyone look to start a new bank account do not go with this atrocious joke of a bank.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The employees there were not attentive and flat out ignored me. I will not go back to this place again. Do not recommend!

I have had very good experience with Wayzata branch of Huntington lately. My account was hacked and I needed help to sort it out and recover funds. All staff of this brunch was very helpful, expecially manager David Shingledecker, who spent a lot of time with me in order to clear all the issues. He showed a lot of knowledge and desire to help in difficult situation. For that ,I want to say Thank You. I was TCF and Huntigton customer for 30+ years and can testify that it was outstanding service.

For over 50 years I have been a loyal customer of TCF Bank. When TCF became Huntington I was skeptical to say the least. I was used to the hometown feel and personal attention I got from my early TCF years. That being said, the Wayzata manager David Shingledecker is without a doubt an incredible banker who possess old school customer service skills that are second to none. He single handedly has made the TCF/Huntington transition a success. His attention to detail, sincere compassion, and great attitude are attributes of a bygone era. Thanks TCF and Huntington for giving our family the opportunity to have David as our banker.
