Witnessed management totally chew out an employee in full view of many customers. Absolutely disgusting behavior. Alfred is the manager, Gwen was the employee. Totally unprofessional. Never shopping here again.

Amanda was awesome today, please give her a 75% pay raise and remember what an incredible employee you had meeting me at the front door with a smile and helping me in several departments today .
I'm a sales professional, you cannot hire employees as effective and kind as this young lady was today.

Bought blinds and had them trimmed. Had to go back because some weren’t trimmed correctly. Stood around for 30 minutes and nobody tried to help. Saw 3 workers, one was on their phone. Finally found somebody to call for help but was told they left at 5…

I love Home Depot. I practically built my whole house in Springfield with stuff from Home Depot.
My problem with this store is the floor sales staff. Every time I go there, there's plenty of sales staff around, but they won't engage. They are usually huddled together in groups, and they try to avoid customers, and it feels like you are inconveniencing them if you try to get their attention. If they are alone, they try to walk past or look away if they notice you, and they actively avoid eye contact.
I feel like I have to be aggressive and actively seek help. I feel like i have to go outside my comfort zone and fight for someone to assist me. I feel like I need to stand in the aisle and scream, "Customer needs assistance with doors in isle 17!"
I miss the days when my main problem at Home Depot was having to tell the floor salespeople, "No thank you. I don't need any help. I'm just browsing. But thanks for asking!"
Wouldn't it be wonderful to live in that world again!

All they care about is $$$$ and not customer service. They can look at cameras to see if someone steals out the front door anytime. Then a customer spending thousands of dollars loses a phone in an aisle and wants to confirm that I brought phone in and someone didn’t steal it in the aisle your too busy to check the cameras to see where they mite have dropped it? Horrible customer service. I worked customer service for years it would have taken 5 minutes of their day to confirm I sat the phone down in a end cap(yes I’m dumb and admit it but they just looked at me like I was crazy)Avoid this Home Depot

You have an employee there named Tyrone apparently likes to be argumentative with customers and puts his hand in their faces when he doesn't want to talk. If you have a grown man that's willing to put his hand in customer's faces then that obviously tells me that there's no real accountability at that store in regards to maintaining a standard of service

I shop at Home Depot about once a month for various things (plants.)
This was my first visit to this location. I only came in because I was in the area and wanted to check out their plant selection.
This is BY FAR the friendliest Home Depot I’ve ever been to! Every employee said hello and asked how I was doing or if I was finding everything alright. They sounded like they meant it, which is rare these days!
I have worked in retail for over 20 years now and currently am the Team Leader of Service & Engagement at a local Target. I will be telling my own team about this great shopping experience and pushing them to be as good as you guys are! Bravo! ?? ?? ??

This is the worst customer service Home depot I have been to in the US. I hate this store. I spend a ton of money in hardware stores every year, and the bannister Home Depot if you can't help yourself don't bother going. Every time I have tried getting help at this store it is next to impossible. I am tired of it after waiting 45+ mins to not have anyone show up to let me buy tools that are locked up today. Guess I'll take my business elsewhere. Having to ask 10+ times nice for help and waiting patiently. To see employees just stand around talking and laughing and refusing to help anyone. This store is a joke every time I go there over the past 10 years living in the area. I won't shop at Home Depot ever again. Online orders from amazon or another hardware store like Lowes.

I visited your Bannister location yesterday and was having trouble finding what I needed. A employee went over and above helping me find what I needed!! I usually go to Lowe’s but after this visit i will exclusively shop at this location!!!
