“Such a welcoming and friendly environment. They bless my family with so many groceries and baby needs! I’m thankful and I recommend for anyone that needs a little bit of assistance!”
“We volunteered to feed the families of the kids staying there. We served Chicken Alfredo salad with chips and cookies with sodas. It was fun and the families appreciated it.”
“The person who was working yesterday, who I believe may be the owner or a manager, was SO amazing!! They were so cheerful, explained how their store works and their mission, and was so inviting. They are very obviously passionate about fashion, and made it seem like each piece of clothing was art. They complimented my pants, which had me feeling so good when I left - we need more of that kindness in the world. Just had to drop by to thank them!?”
“Knowledgeable volunteers. Shop has just about everything you may need to repair your bike, plus friendly folks and a welcoming atmosphere. Just grab your bike and waltz on in.”
“The Men's Frat Bible study is held periodically on Monday's from 7:30-9:00pm There is a full meal up front with time to fellowship with the other men, ranging from ages 18-72. Afterwards we are taught the Word of God regarding the tenets of being a Man in the sight of God! Everything from Managing Finances to Leading a Family! Powerful and Insightful teachings lead by the CEO Bishop Marvin Daniels Himself. Come and See!”
“We volunteered to sort foods to benefit the community. We will definitely volunteer again! They're a great group of people who were very helpful and informative!”
“This is a hidden gem! Absolutely wonderful place
They helped to provide 2 pack n plays to my grandkids that were in desperate need of a safe sleeping place. It was a very seamless process and an awesome experience. Thank you ?”
“They are a wonderful! The way that June, Jade, Tina, and Dee have helped me and my friends is incredibly impactful. They can help with certifications, education, homelessness and more.”
“This place is amazing. The people who run it are Amazing. They are truly doing God's work, and making this world a better place. I don't know what I would have done this year without them - I have always been self-sufficient, but fell on harder times when I lost my job in March. I have managed to get by, better than I could have hoped for - thanks to their generosity.
You don't just come to Dream Pantry for the obvious - food and clothing items that are needed and so helpful - you also get support and love and prayers.. and those feelings feed the soul in ways sustenance never could. I am truly humbled by how thankful I feel.
Thank you - all of you, for being real-life angels <3”
“It was fantastic. They have a dedicated staff providing much needed assistance to the community. Helping others to become self sufficient in many capacities. They are truly there to change peoples lives for the better.”
“Any agency that helps out people with food clothing some type of light at the end of the tunnel definitely deserves a great blessings thank you for helping the homeless and people that are needing to help”
“Great polling place for our community. Extremely nice people and very clean. They had everything nicely marked where to stand and proceed through the process. We had absolutely no wait time and my husband and I were both finished within 15 minutes. Nice job, well done Argentine Community!!!!”
“I dropped a couple things off to donate. The lady at the front desk was very kind. The guys reacted quickly when I drove my car around back. They couldn't take a couple things I had but gave me suggestions as to who might take it.”
“Enjoyed watching the cowboys bull riding and bronco riding. Alot of fun. Food was good too. The BIG clown that rode a SMALL motorcycle up a short ramp and jumped over 2 cowboys laying on the ground was funny to watch. He had a Evil Knevel outfit on and made it fun to watch.”

“NAWS…
“Northland Animal Welfare Society “
How can any give this place anything else besides a 5 star rating?
They offer discounted services and have the kindest people working there.
Great place- great people ….”
“Great charity that helps those families that are less fortunate. We didn't realize that my wife and I have been contributors for 28 years. They care for the security of the children or adults you sponsor as well as you, the donor. They were able to arrange special need family requests and do not overwhelm you with solicitations. Highly recommend.”
“The mission of this not for profit market is what is important here. The mission being to empower youth and adults with developmental disabilities to pursue Their best lives....
The shop has an impressive supply of unique items that one doesn't find in large chain stores. I will definitely go back to this shop and will someday soon go to the market in Weston.”
“We are proud to financially support the St Charles food pantry. Deacon Frank Peak and his co-workers are examples of Christ in our lives. Deacon Frank never fails to send his thanks to us which we very much appreciate”
“My daughter has been in the program since she started H.S. She has gained so much knowledge and confidence from being a part of the team. Overall a great attribution to our community. Our family thanks everyone who makes this program possible.”
“Foster Adopt Connect provides a needed service to deserving families while fostering solutions for young adults who have aged out of foster care. Great addition to the community.”
“My 7-year-old has been taking dance classes here since she was 2 1/2. We absolutely love the teaching artists, staff, and community. The teachers focus on training, not competition. All of the dancers wear costumes that are age-aporopriate and truly look like the young ladies and gentlemen they are in stage. The community is diverse and feels like a family. I can't say enough about how much our family loves KCYA!”
“This organization is a great resource for the nonprofit community. They offer excellent training and networking events. They maintain Kansas City's premier job search site for career opportunities in the not-for-profit sector.”
“Outstanding program! Although these people have disabilities, they have tons of talent in many different ways. Some people are intimated by people with disabilities as i was until I was blessed with the opportunity to really get to know Beth Hartley. I discovered something I didn't know or understand. They are PEOPLE and they have immense value to add to our understanding of diversity. They need us, to understand them and the joy returned to us cannot be put into words without experiencing personal interaction with them. Do not be afraid to love them.... They will love you in their own way.”
“Nothing but excellence in everything they do, friendly and professional starting from the front desk, day hospital staff, the therapist, managers and volunteers. I took my husband there ( after he suffered a very bad stroke) a year + ago, he was not aware of anything, completely wheelchair bound, non verbal but with the help of Ability KC family , he is now able talk and walking with cane.He is still doing therapy sessions there. Ability KC has become part of our family ❤️?”

“I was a client here once. They are pretty strict and have a pretty long program, but I think they truly do care. They take the clients on lots of cool outings and have classes during the day. When you are getting closer to the end of your stay, they let you cook for everybody a couple times a week. They have a whole room devoted to clothes, shoes, bras, and panties downstairs. And the rooms that you get to stay in are pretty nice. When you first get there, they give you a gift bag filled with items much needed when you are just getting off the street. They have a nurse there and will also take you to see the doctor so you can get on medication. They have an outdoor area with a small garden and pretty flowers. They have a movie room with tons of DVD’s. Lots of time devoted to God, which I enjoyed. You can work out or do yoga in the classroom area.”
“My husband’s & my two grandchildren like Heartland Camps so much that they have come by plane from Arlington VA in the summers of 2024 and 2025 to attend a week of summer camp.”
