As I was having a conversation with my friend, the waitress over heard us talking about a painting of Indians. She then interrupted us and told us that her "people" were indigenous. She acted like we had said something derogatory. I was worried to order after that in fear that she'd spit in my food. The staff there has a tendency to be less that courteous. Food is average at best.

Chili was not "chock full of sirloin" per menu description. (Actually, no meat at all to be found in the $11 chili.)Told server, who was in a particularly bad mood, and she said there was nothing she could do about it.Called the Coffee Cup the next day and they said the owner would call me, but never did. Messaged them again and no response. We were regulars, but will not return to patronize Coffee Cup.

Waitress never came to check on us once, dropped the check off without a thank you. Food was alright other than not warm. Ran out of water and coffee and couldn’t flag anyone down to refill. One more thing….would it kill any of you to crack even a bit of a smile. Scowls a plenty.I don’t need to go for awhile, sadly.

Coming to the coffee cup is a right of passage in the Bitterroot Valley. Stepping in the door is stepping back in time. They have a huge menu (don't get the oysters) but really you just gotta stick with breakfast. They have great pancakes, great pie, and I always get their benedict. Love the Coffee Cup but don't expect a 5 star dining experience, this place is all about atmosphere and locals

Just picked up a pie this visit. Usually the pies are good. Big variety...-> if you can think of it they probably have it. This is a diner that has been around for years and years. The food menu is pretty big- mostly comfort food. There's a breakfast bar you could sit at when eating solo. Lots of parking.

Change your Google hrs if you’re not going to be open!!! Drove from Missoula for nothing!!!! This is what happens when all your workers are recovering addicts

Unbelievable!!!! I have been going to coffee cup for 20 years. I have spent thousands of dollars there. My delinquent 16 year old son works there and is a runaway. I went there to and asked politely to talk to my son. The methed out crack head waitress went to get him came back and screamed at me to leave saying I couldn’t make him leave. I’m sorry but I am his parent and can. She completely embarrassed me and stepped on my rights as a parent. I calmly left and called the police. The officer agreed I was in the right. The crackhead waitress who was probably not even a parent got the owner to say I could not come back there ever. So disappointing.

We waited fifteen minutes just to get water and our order taken and it took around three minutes to be seated even though the place is small. As soon as we sat down we could see tables surrounding us covered in old plates and cups that were obviously very old as you could see the time.on a coffee cup on a table was dated 8:16

I absolutely love this place. Coming from a big city I came to this establishment because of my fiancee Harli because she use to work there. This place has got some of the most amazing food for unbelievably low prices and the service there is very small town and hospitable. I love this
