Needed to print 3 pages and asked for help, as it is not something I do regularly. I was told no he could not help as he had 85 other projects he was working on.Not a good experience.

I wouldn't try and get anything printed here. It takes them days and the printer quality on images is worse than what I can print on my home printer.

Dealt with staples today. No, dealt with poor customer service today. First, I find out my package has not been shipped out for over 2 weeks. Called looking for information and spoke with an associate who scoffed about there being piles of boxes unshipped and when I called them out on it, he said I was not his boss. When I told him I wanted to speak with the manager he told me that wasn’t going to happen. Needless to say I went there in person to speak with the manager, despite communicating as kindly as I could, she justified the new employee saying it was a stressful job, when it is one of the slowest retail stores I know in the area. She then continued to question my understanding for retail workers, which I have worked among before and justified the shipping issue as well. This is not a business I will be using anymore.

My Dad went in today and just wanted to print a picture off his phone. He is technology illiterate, so he needs help with stuff like that. But instead he got rudeness! The lady said to him “ it’s Christmas time we are busy I can’t help you. You will have to go to the machine and do it”. And gave him veg details on how to use the machine. I have worked in retail for many years now and I understand it gets busy during the holidays, but I have never ever nor would I ever tell a customer that! That is just ridiculous! I don’t think we will be going back there and will not be recommending going there to anyone!

Ugh. Does anyone work here? Went to print out some docs and left speaking sailorese with no docs in hand. There were two people working in the store. One at the checkout, another beleaguered soul at the print center who could probably qualify on a Chinese acrobat team spinning plates. People lined up and he was the only one who could help. How he was able to stay pleasant in spite of the understaffing was pretty amazing. After chatting with another woman who was equally annoyed over trying to figure out the self service copy center, I left disgusted.Seems to be right out of the playbook for corporate big box stores. Keep a skeleton staff (if you can even find any!) and turn everything to self service. No thank you!Go to Helena Print and Design for local competent service instead.

So I walk in with my 2020 and 2021 taxes that I needed scanned to a thumb drive. I ask if they can do it while I wait. A nice, young gentleman named Brandon (according to his name tag) said yes. I handed him the taxes, my thumb drive and tell him I'll go shopping. I shopped around for maybe 15-20 minutes and come back to the copy counter. Brandon is busy helping another lady and looks stressed running his hands through his hair. Another man offers to help me. I tell him that Brandon there was scanning my stuff and I am not sure if he is done yet. Brandon tells him he is and he will be with me in a moment. I tell him to relax, I am in no hurry. The other store associate walks away. Another male associate walks up and walks over to Brandon who told me he is trying to help another customer (who came in after me) locate a receipt. The other associate goes over to the screen Brandon is working on and pushes a few buttons then asks if he can help me. I relay again that Brandon was helping me but IDK if he is done yet. The I'm assuming manager bc she had a bunch of keys with her, then walks up and talks to the other guy, talks to Brandon then asks if she can help me. I relay the same. Neither help me. The manager tells me that they usually have customers drop these things off and come back. I explain that I asked and have been waiting and show her the items I had accumulated while shopping. She then tells me again about the wait. I said I have been waiting and was here before all these other people walked up and if you can't do the job to give me my taxes with my Social security number on them and I will simply request my bank scan the items. The store manager walked away. The other male associate began ringing up the other people waiting behind me. Brandon FINALLY finished his assistance with the lady who needed the receipt. He then returned to scanning my items bc HE WAS NOT DONE! I waited a few more minutes and then the other associate rung me up. He then had the nerve to ask me about the items I had selected while shopping (about $100 worth of pink Martha Stewart notebooks - not important!). I told him I was simply no longer interested in them, paid $60 for my scans and went on my way.....4 people including the manger offered to assist but NOBODY would finish my scans and complete my transaction. So Staples, I ask, why are you employing so many at your Helena store? They don't seem to be interested in assisting their customers.....at least not me!

On TWO widely separated, in time, occasions I experienced some of the most DELIBERATELY rude, infuriating treatments ever, possibly from the same woman employee, possibly from two different women. Plus a weird, uncomfortable encounter with a male employee. I hope I don't ever need to purchase here again.

The young man who chashiered the last two times I was there is very polite and knows his stuff. He helped me set up the Staples Connect app in my phone. Another associate was quick to assist us and helped haul out two heavy, unassembled chairs.

Unhelpful and indifferent staff and a small selection of items. Furthermore, Staples website in general is misleading with what is actually in store.

I wanted a small print job done. Stoped by, called, emailed and had little or no response for the work I wanted done. I went to a small shop in town to have my printing done within 24 hours of contacting. Go with the little guy because Staples doesn't want business.

The most disrespectful employees. Very rude and not helpful. You need help finding something and they just point and walk away.

I'm a Capitalist at heart and have no issue paying a fair price for a product or service. I had to fax 26 pages to a business using a toll-free number. When the cashier at Staples in Helena, MT told me it would be $2.10 per page ($54.60 total charge) my demeanor changed quickly. Bad on you Staples for charging a ridiculous price for a self-service action using a toll-free number. I would have given this a 1-star review but the cashier too was appalled at the price and very apologetic. In closing, I mailed the pages for around six bucks.

I needed to fax some paperwork to someone. When I went in to do this, I just gave the gentleman behind the counter what needed to be faxed and the phone number where it needed to be faxed to. I about fell over when he was done and told me it was $16.80 for 8 pieces of paper to be faxed. I had used the same service about 6 months ago for more papers and it was only about $3.00. I had looked to see if it was posted in big letters and numbers before having him fax it for me thinking it would be about the same price as 6 months ago. They only have a tiny piece of paper listing the price taped on the counter at the cash register and they don't tell you the price before faxing. This will be the last time I ever set foot on this store. They advertise cheap prices. That was awful having to pay that much to fax 8 pieces of paper. If I could give them a -5 rating I would. Talk about taking advantage of people and their hard working money. Never again. I will drive the extra few miles into town to go find a different place. It would definitely be cheaper even with using your gas to seek out a different company. Shame on you Staples for taking advantage of people like this.
