Very good food but it's not traditional meals more like great sandwiches and side orders. No regular dinners with mash potatoes and gravy and stuff.

Across the Tracks inside the sale barn is a great place to eat. Good food at a great price. We always have good service to. Some times they are a little busy but that's ok. Hope they keep it up.

I was really looking forward to a good breakfast today. I ordered the western omelet, greasy, there was a very hot sauce on top, did not ask for that, I could not eat half of the omelet but the rest tasted okay. Dry toast but, at least there was grape jelly on the table.Coffee, coke products, ice tea. Yep thats your drink choices.Clean place though and you get your soft drinks in a Mason jar. I liked that. Maybe lunch is better? The cook, who was the only staff there was so nice, he had to take our order, cook it and serve it.GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE! He deserves it. He tried really hard.

It's 115 on Sunday and the posted hours are 0700-200pm but my son and I were turned away and quite rudely at that. I don't know why and wasn't offered an explanation why "we're done for the day" but it felt like a mistake trying to spend my money with a local business for lunch

Great place for breakfast! Bring cash if you go, they don't accept cards, but it is the only place I've been in Beatrice that has food with any flavour. Additionally, the prices are more than reasonable. Kind staff and just a great place to eat. The pancakes and the sweet potato with spinach dish is so good.

Cafe is awesome. It doesn't get the attention it deserves. The catfish on Friday is the best!!! Such a down home atmosphere!

Just flew into Nebraska from Australia with my newly bought wife. She is from there so I thought I would bring her here to show her how us American's live, as she did pick the place out to visit. She explained to me in her very native Australian language (in which I did have to use Rosetta stone in order to learn it) That she got us tickets to something which she believed was similar to WOODSTOCK. She was excited and went out and spent my $1500 I had saved for our trip to Beatrice NE on clothes for what she thought was a festival. Little did she know she got us tickets to buy livestock. She was extremely confused to say the least when we show up and shes half naked in festival clothing (imagine woodstock) and everyone else is fully clothed in cowboy boots and wranglers. Not to mention some chick named Shirley kept asking stupid questions, like shut up shirley my stupid Australian wife just gave me crabs and spent all my money on festival clothes. Australians am i right? Would have been a fun time besides all the stinky animals you people have running around! I mean come on is this how you conduct a business?
