This is my first negative review. I don’t know where to write a complaint to the management. Return service needs to be improved. I tried to return something on October 5, 2024 around 11.10-11.35AM. I see a lot of people skip a line because they don’t know where the line is. They can come from everywhere to the counters. People who work at the counter had never known what going on around them. They open a new spot and close the spot that I waited. I had to go to another spot and was the last person in line. Then, they opened a new spot again. It happened to me two times until I told someone at the counter. I noticed that too much shelves in front of return service counters. I know that they try to sell stuffs while people are standing there. But the problem are people who work at the counter couldn’t see customers and ignore them. Also, it is so hard to move the cart between shelves, especially when I held a baby and watched my two other kids at the same time. I told a guy at the counter and received an apology about the skipping line problem. But, I think they need to do something to fix this problem. It will repeat again and again. I had to hold my tears and told a girl who helped me return stuffs that this was not right.

I would like to say how much I enjoy shopping at this location. They always have a nice selection of plants. Sometimes, they have some less pretty plants on clearance if you are willing to give the plants some extra attention. Mine have come back great. The biggest reason is the customer service from Harley Cazinha. He is always willing to assist in loading my heavy items. He has a great attitude, and it is obvious he enjoys his job. The cashier didn't know
they offered assistance in loading soil, but Harley came forward and assisted without hesitancy. It allows me to make my purchase and grow my garden. Thank you.

Hi Folks,
I'm old and I cannot figure out how to leave a compliment on the main website, so doing it here. I visited on the evening of 09/23/2024 around 8pm self-checkout, and just wanted to give Blake a huge shoutout for letting me know about some pretty incredible savings when I was stocking up on home HVAC filters. Blake went above and beyond to let me know that the item I was buying was included in a great deal, and I wouldn't have known to take advantage without his help. Thank you Blake!!! And thank you, Home Depot, for have such incredible employees like Blake. Y'all rock!

Had to give the rating to do this review. I would give -100 if I could. Everything I have done with this company recently has gone bad. Just horrible. Please know who is delivering and installing in your home before you just let them in. Ask for id and have another person present. Check all items delivered and never sign anything. Orange vest do not make them trustworthy. And just because you see 5 stars Beware.

Awful kitchen and cabinet department.
I ordered cabinets from this store. They designed them and we paid to have them installed. From the get go nothing but mistakes have happened. The cabinets showed up in the wrong color and size. So had to wait 3-4 weeks for new ones. They were damaged and they installed them anyways. They offered to replace but again another 3-4 weeks. They pay a sub (2crew who are terrible also) to install the cabinets who also pays a sub to do the work. Missing trim that was not ordered so I had to physically meet the installer at the project get a list of what was missing take it to Home Depot and tell them what to order to finish the job. That’s what I paid them over 12k to do. Will not recommend them for any projects. Try talking to manager Will but he is avoiding my calls and in store visits. Cheryl the COS is way in over her head and should not be the front line person to deal with customers. Over all just a nightmare.

This store usually has what I need but most of the employees are untrained on product location. I've learned to ask the older gentleman in the doors dept if I wanna find something. The one thing that really bugs me though is in the evening they only do self checkout and will have 2 employees literally standing there almost watching you check yourself out instead of checking me out themselves. "Supposedly because the store cuts employees hours in the evenings" I was told. Well if I have to check myself out I should receive a 20% discount then in my opinion. The store has raised prices and cut employees hours, should be the opposite, lower prices then if we gotta check ourselves out. I honestly would go to menards or lowes where they pay cashiers to check you out if there was one in the millard area.

Thank you Jackson! We encountered Jackson working in the kitchen design center. He helped my husband and I find an item for our air conditioner unit. The item we were looking for did not have an assigned home location in the store on the Home Depot website. Jackson looked up the item and helped us look several places. He went the extra mile to find the item on a high shelf in back stock. He then got it down for us, all with a smile.

My experience SUCKED! I was told by one of your design specialists that I was to call today and check on my oven! I got email saying it was at your L Street store. I called this morning around 9:00am to check on delivery time and we set it for tomorrow, July 30 after 5:00pm. I called at around 4:30 pm to check when I got an email saying it was rescheduled for Wednesday, I live 75 miles south( out of delivery range) so made special plans to pick up tomorrow(July 30th). I called again around 7:00pm since the person at 5:00pm said they’d check on it and call me back. I’m pissed. So I’ll take my business elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!

I rented a flatbed truck from this location and it was a really good experience. We had some miscommunication at first, but in the end, the manager made good on everything he said, and then some. So I want everyone to know that this store takes care of its customers. I can attest to it first hand. Thank you Home Depot for everything you guys did to make my experience one worth sharing. When you need to rent a tool, think of these guys! They are straight up legit... Kudos
