This is location is great because the Schaduler. Fridays closed at 6pm & on Saturday until 1pm. The staff are so pleasant.

After several months during the fall of 2023, I'm was having major trouble with my account . I went into the Stephanie location for help . Marcos Mata claimed to be the branch manager. However, I was told that the actual branch manager was on vacation . I'll admit I was upset. All of my bills were unpaid, and $35 overdraft notices were sent in bulk daily without as much as a phone call.Due to my frustration, he refused to help resolve the issues . Then he wrote a letter to complain about me,which denied me access to lobby service. A manager, or one acting as a manager, should be able to handle a frustrated customer . Mr Mata does not have the managerial skills needed to work with all types of customers.

20 plus year member! Place has turned into a dump. They nickel and dime you to death. I had an over draft actually 2 as I had a payment go thru that was not suppose to which caused my account to overdraft as I didn't have enough to cover the overdraft fees. So I went in and talked to them and they told me it was there job to make sure it did t happen again, I could do this buy applying for a line of credit....... Which I declined so a 7.00 charge cases 70.00 in over draft fees. I understand about habitual over drafters but this was a MISTAKE. Ssscu can go scratch. .

This credit union is useless and I'm taking my business somewhere else. Everytime i apply for credit here i get turned down. I get approved anywhere else but here. Take your business to another bank.

Was already having a rough day as it is due to a card issue but was made to feel worse after I arrived. It was bad enough to feel unwelcome by the two representatives in the front counter when I walked in there when they didn't acknowledge us or greet us but then one of them looked like he was about to smile as he looked up and then didn't when he seem to recognize me from a previous time when I needed help with my account. It just completely brought me down and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him especially after seeing his demeanor in handling the issue. I will no longer go inside the building to be made to feel unwelcome especially when it was uncalled for I never acted out, gave an attitude or made it difficult to deal with. Hopefully I can get another bank account elsewhere.

Baffled by the low rating for this branch. Whenever I visit Vegas family, I'll drive the 25-30 minutes just to do banking here, even though there are closer branches. Everyone is friendly and engaging. Jamie, one of the managers, was extremely helpful on one occasion where I asked to reset a trust account. She took extra time to explain options and ensure I understood the context behind taking specific actions and the implications of making specific changes. And I've been impressed with how quickly she returns calls, even when she's out of the office in training! Bravo Jamie and many thanks to you and the Silver State Stephanie branch team. I'll be back!

The customer service was excellent, I am a new member and had an excellent experience at the Whitney branch. Received a personal loan in an hour.. Matthew was the best, a young knowledgeable loan consultant that treated me with kindness and respect, like the good old days. I love being a member. I felt like I was family.The greeting by the staff was wondeful . Thanks Silver State. Happy Holidays to all of you!!!♡

I have banked with this credit union for 14 years of mediocre service. But yesterday was the worst that I have ever seen. I call them to report that my debit card had been compromised and I need a new card. The woman said that she need to file a fraud report which was the norm. So she left me on hold while she completed the form, after about 15 minutes she comes back to the phone and ask me some questions regarding my use of the card. All of this was not a problem. The problem was I told her that because my card was compromised and I was currently w/o a card, I was sharing my husband's card. I told her that I had tried to Cash App money to my daughter and the transaction was denied. She told me to hold while she check on this. Again after about 15 minutes, she informed me that the card was flagged for fraud because of that transaction. I told her that there was no fraud because it was a legitimate transaction. She told me that because it was my husband's card that she need to speak with him. I told her no because I am the primary on this account and had just explained to her what happened. She told me that the card would be frozen until they spoke with my husband. I could understand her doing this if she wasn't sure of my identity however, when I began my conversation, I identified my name, account number, date of birth, and mother's maiden name. So she had everything that she needed.I am so over this credit union... This is MY money, not yours... What gives you the right to dictate to me what is and isn't legitimate on my account!!

This bank is by far the worst bank I have ever dealt with. They think it's okay to completely freeze your card or close your account without notice like what is the reason? And on the day I needed to pay my shit and I have to now wait 4 days to get ahold of these ignorant people. I need access to my money and their customer service is complete garbage. They also don't know what they're doing ever. 0 stars if could Foreal. Scums
