Stayed around Easter, it was very enjoyable. Loved the boat access across the Colorado. There were a bunch of Roman LARPers though, their depiction of the crucifixion of Christ was worryingly accurate.
Would stay again.

This review pertains only to the RV “resort”.
My wife & I have been RV’ing for over 45 years and this is the first and only time we have pulled into a place and turned right around and left. The place was a mess and seemed like a ghost town. The signage to locate the RV park and the office/registration was nonexistent. It took us 15 minutes to locate someone to find our spot. The website said check-in was 4:00 but everyone left at 3:00. We didn’t even check the showers/bathrooms. Don’t waste your time going here.

Did not stay at the resort. But my brother and grandson and I had a nice lunch at the cafe.Noteworthy details: Great view of the marina.

It is off-season, so we were pretty much alone. It is very remote, but that makes it quiet. If you want up to date rooms, this isn't the place for you. If you want to watch TV, this isn't the place for you. But, the accommodations were in working order and clean. We ate at the cafe and had great food. Even though it's only open on the weekends. The staff were very nice. We enjoyed hearing the coyotes at night. I'd come back off-season.Nearby activities: There's a great Denny's in Searchlight. We recommend taking a trip to Nelson and the Hoover Dam. We also enjoyed the casinos in Laughlin.

There is a toilet, which is a good place for the family to rest and play in the water.

We had literally the best day ever!!!I forget the men's names... the guy that was inside the office, and then the one that helped us out on the dock(with the tattoos ). Wanted to give a shout out to the one that helped us onto the boat but we forget his name! We loved him!!Both were super kind and informative!

My family of 5 have stayed at the hotel many times over a 20+ period. We have had tons of fun and made many many memories we will never forget. I would give a 5 star everytime but I do have one small complaint. It’s hard to say “complaint” but it’s more of an irritation. The trash around the cove is an issue for me. I know the wind blows and trash builds up no matter how hard one tries to keep it picked up, but when it’s Sunny with no wind and your want to chill by the lake and you gotta move the trash aside or step over it to go in the water it’s not very nice. It’s gross and a definite eye sore. Other then that, it’s awesome!

Cottonwood Cove… well it definitely seen better days, the upper campsites are complete deserted, and nobody has camp there for years. The pictures that are shown are not the same, the beach smells of dead fish and there’s trash EVERYWHERE. The trees and bushes look so sad. There is no camp host and the “Cop” is too busy and rude to have anything to say. The campsites that are useable are tucked into a cannon. Those aren’t well kept, for $20 a night would to fine if it looked nice BUT honestly it could be $5 a night. I would have better luck parking at a Walmart. The guy that owns it should stop being so money hungry and start updating the property.

Stayed in the “cove” single wide trailer: falling apart, not terribly clean, beds saggy. We found a dead scorpion in a coffee cup in the cabinet. Our family stayed in the motel which has no kitchen and no one warned us the restaurant would only be open on the weekends. Friends stayed in the RV park, no complaints. We rented a slip for our boat, docks and launch are in good condition.

Stayed 4 days in rv park in July and stayed 3 nights in motel in September. Simple basic room, clean and designed for easy cleaning with no carpet. You are there for the lake. Fuel island fair priced, store well stocked but don't expect sale prices. Staff extra friendly and hard working, like everywhere else they could probably use more help. I will verify that the owner and his general manager truly cared about my experience and I will return.
