Iv heard nothing but bad experiences hear gave the benefit of a doubt and yeah I go to remove a tire from my mother's mini van and they got the damn tires lugnuts so tight I broke 2, 3/8 drive ratchets, a 1/2" ratchet and also a 1/2" breaker bar with a 2' pipe on the end of it and they didn't budge. Odd a valve steam broke off 2 months after replacing them also odd to have shot tierods and lower ballpoint on both sides guess they dont do a shake down when doing repairs they just send you on your way All I can say is someone's lucky I'm not teaching someone stick. Don't waste your time or life with these clowns. Have some other things I could add but it's not worth my time or my anger. Big fat 0 meaning no star

After having some bad experiences with various other shops in the area, I decided to try Canaan Auto Center in 2021. Craig and Don have done all of the work on my Jeeps since then - I won't go anywhere else. Very honest, fair, reliable service and a truly NO NONSENSE business. They really care about earning your patronage. Craig is the owner, but he's also the lead mechanic onsite, which is convenient because you're receiving the info about your car straight from the technician, not some secretary or shady salesman. He has no problem showing you the problem(s) if you request it too. They are a few miles extra drive outside of town but it's worth it to know your vehicles are in good hands. If you are looking for a great local full-service automotive center, this is the place.

Craig and his mechanic(s) are great at their job. They are honest and hard working. They do all the work on my Ford f-150 and on my wife's KIA Sportage. They are very affordable, friendly, and knowledgeable. It is hard to find a Mechanic, let alone two, with these attributes in the same place. Did I mention that Craig also does local snowplowing and sanding ? He does. Thank you Craig for all you do to keep my wife and I on the road.Services: Oil change

Was in a pinch with a set of extremely tricky tires. Every single shop and dealership told me they would "try" it in all of the upper valley or told me they could not handle it. Well I wanted somebody that knew they could. A friend recommended these guys. Craig was extremely confident it was not a problem. Dropped my rig off all day a day later. He was able to get the set mounted on black wheels (ask anybody its next to impossible to not scratch) with not a single mark. The balancing was perfect and still is. Again, extremely hard for the size tire and wheel. He was able todo it on shorter notice. Best of all he was the best price. Its hard these days to find somebody you trust todo work on your vehicle but I found the one I do. They may be slightly out of the way but worth it every time.
