Ashley and Monica went above and beyond for me today. I called last night asking if I would be able to get flyers donated for a local organization I am working with. Ashley said she would do it without a hesitation but did not want to speak for her manager. I went in this morning and Monica made it a point to make light with me about the flyers. I was nervous at first but she assured me she was joking. Monica printed my flyers for me and made sure they were everything I was looking for. The store was neat and organized. The cashier's were friendly and as soon as I walked in someone asked me if they could help me find what I was looking for. I will definitely be back to Staples as I start up my small business. Thank you for your help and your support in the community. We really do appreciate it.

This particular staples location has taken a bit of a nosedive over the last few years. You can still find most of the office supplies that you need here, but you're better off going online.

I went into the store to get a price match refund for the difference on an Amazon Fire Tablet. It was being sold by Amazon and Staples for $15 less than what I purchased it for a few days prior at their store. I had my Staples receipt and the Amazon webpage printed out showing the discount. No to mention that the Staples store had the price marked down in their store.
Their price match policy reads :
“Staples® retail stores will price match items that are sold and shipped by Amazon.com (its Marketplace sellers are excluded), and sold by any retailer who sells products in both retail stores and online under the same brand.”
If you purchase an item from Staples store and tell us within 14 days that you found that item at a lower price in our stores or at staples.com®, we’ll refund the difference.”
The employee couldn’t do the refund so they called the manager. When the manager came out she was extremely rude and dismissive. She pushed my receipt back at me over the counter and said “this is not enough” … WHAT !! a receipt from the store showing the higher price is not enough to prove I bought it from you. I said well I have the item in my truck and I can go grab it. She very arrogantly said well yeah you should go do that then and walked away. SERIOUSLY how rude.
I returned with the item and another employee was at the register checking into the Amazon price match. Again she had an attitude like I was trying to get one over on them. I said it’s from Amazon. She says oh well they need to ship and sell it. It literally says ships from and sold by Amazon on the piece of paper that has been sitting on the counter for the last 10 minutes. Still it took another 5 minutes for them to figure it out.
Then rather than refund me the difference they now said well you have to return the first one the we will resell it back to you at the lower price. Ridiculousness at a level 10. The best part is as she is reselling me a tablet that I already owned she’s like oh it’s the same price in our store as the Amazon price match. Maybe they could have checked that first……
There is nothing in the policy that says you need to return and repurchase to get a refund. The policy says “We will refund you the difference “.
I’m thinking the mangers/employees at the store need some retraining in policy and customer service.
I won’t go back and no one else should either. There is no reason to reward bad behavior and poor customer service. I give this interaction a F … do better Staples.

Its a real gift when a person crosses another person who is genuinely caring, kind, and a compassionate. I did just that last week when I came in to get copies for an event that was supporting Conway Area Humane Society. Debbie was so helpful and patient. Its people like her that keep businesses like me coming back in for their business needs. Thanks Debbie!

I just had the absolute best in store experience at your North Conway store. Michael and his entire team went above and beyond to assist me while promoting in store sales and advertising. I am absolutely blown away by their customer service. If I could 100 stars I absolutely would.

Shame I have to use an alias account because I don't need negative feedback and hurting my private business. Staff is disrespectful and apparence looks hobos. Messy hair, everyday clothes not uniforms no name tags. One associate looked like they got out of bed looked like a junkie. Same associate had what looked like slipper boots and holes in pants. Over heard same associate yell and scream at a middle aged private business owner calling them very disrespectful names. I will not be coming back to this store or any if necessary. I understand that workers are hard to come by due to hard times but they will lose customers. I spend hundreds of thousands (a few times over a million) a year at various stores. OfficeMax and Office Depot for the time being. Been a loyal Staples customer since the mid 1990s.

Easy order process online and pickup! Staff was very quick and helpful to retrieve my order as well as help me find a couple other items in the store. Nice that they even helped me load it into the car. Great job all around! Parking is easy in their big lot.
