“This is a charming and historic store that is under new ownership. They don't have too much merch in there at the moment, but there was some pretty and reasonably-priced jewelry, cards, coffee, baked goods, toys, and frozen food (such as meat) from local farms. They have a lovely deck out back, overlooking the river, where you can take your coffee. I think they used to have more food offerings, like sandwiches, and I hope they'll bring those back. The only drawbacks of this place are that it's in a really out-of-the-way location, and I suspect open only seasonally. I would definitely phone ahead before driving out of your way to come here. I hope the new owner succeeds!”

“Mark and crew are top notch! The best on the lake by far! We have been renting boats for many years here. New model boats that are always very clean and reasonable prices too. They have a great little marina store as well for anything you'll need for a fun day on the lake.”
“Make no mistake, this is a convenience store and gas station, not a motel. There are no rooms to rent, despite google showing hotel stay search dates. There used to be a motel next door, but that has been gone for years. As a convenience store Jockey Cap Country Store is a gem for locals. The food is damn good, and they stock some quality beers and local ice cream. They set their own hours, and hours are subject to change, so you have to have the flexibility of a local to take advantage of this place. They can be Soup Nazis sometimes, so you also have to know the drill. Yes, that means they sometimes don't have the patience for tourists. Gas is 87 octane only, no premium.”

“Really awesome service here. Dawn worked the cashier and was very nice and helpful. Lots options to choose from. New limited edition flavors of chips can be found here. A shelf with BuzzBalls right by the check out. Never tried them but been wanting to so I grabbed 3 different ones. There were about 8-10 flavors. Got gas here too. The space between the pumps was kind of tight. But other than that it was a great experience”
“If you're coming into Conway, or just passing through, this is THE place you want to stop for gas or a quick meal. First, this little dynamo of a shop is the most authentic example of a general store for miles around!! They have an excellent selection of basic stuff ya need: groceries, sundries, car snacks and hot & cold drinks, beer, t-shirts, automotive basics (and gas, obviously), and all sorts of necessities and fun things.”

Corey was a wonderful representative of the CN BROWN corporation. He was more than willing to do anything that needed to be done. in addition to that, he was kind hearted, helpful, knowledgeable, patient, willing to work most any hour that was needed to be covered. These assets are difficult to find in a worker today in these times. I, urge the powers that be to reconsider and bring. Corey back to work. This location has a difficult time keeping help that will stay and do the job and tasks at hand. He did all of that as I observed on a daily basis, I feel that he was a wonderful representative of the CN BROWN corporation, and I think he should be returned back to his job and he loved his job.Thank you very much and I hope you reconsider and bring Corey P. back”
