The beer selection in general is solid (plenty of fancy import stuff) but where this place really shines is the variety of cheap domestic stuff. They have stuff that you just don't often see in this area.”

“To me, this place isn't exactly a looker. It's one of those 1/2 liquor stores 1/2 bars. However, the drinks are good and well-priced, the bartenders are great, and their Thursday open mic nights are a lot of fun. The guy who runs them is a wonderful musician himself, friendly and encouraging. It might not be too dolled up, but it's a nice bar with great bartenders, a nice crowd and good music.”
