Will and his team showed and shared nothing but absolute respect for my father in law. From the moment I called on a weekend asking for help until the final goodbye, Schetter was aces . Not one for reviews, however people should hear how great and compassionate these folks are when looking online.

Schetter Funeral Home provided exceptional support and care during a difficult time for our family. Their warmth, empathy and professionalism made the process easier. They personalized every detail of the service beautifully, accommodating our requests and offering guidance. Will and his father Will Jr’s dedication to creating a meaningful farewell for my father was evident throughout the whole process. Thank you so much to Will for helping me navigate through planning my Grandmother's services! My Grandmother was living in Florida when she passed, when my grandmother was flown back home to Jersey Will called me to tell that she had arrived. He kept me informed on everything that was going on. I can't Thank them enough. Losing a loved one is hard, but Will made sure everything was handled with ease.

Lack of basic compassion. The bald man from this funeral home was VERY rude to me after the church mass for my mother. I asked at the church door after following the casket if my young children and I should wait there. His response: "Yeah, do I look like a pall bearer?!?" What an absolute JERK.The younger man running the home now, Will, is inexperienced. I'm glad to be done with Schetter because of the rude, uncompassionate employee and total confusion and lack of professionalism. $25k plus and the funeral home couldn't organize their people or their drivers for five hours of visitations and graveside service. Terrible.

Would like to extend my utmost graduate first and foremost to Justin. He listened to every word I said and made sure every detail was perfect from beginning to the end. To the Shetter family who has known my family since the beginning of time. You never disappoint. Especially, in a time of sorrow. You have an asset to your family business with Justin. You have taught him the great values of your family business. That ever family that intrust you for their family final wishes, come true. This place is by far the worst funeral establishment I have ever dealt with. It truly deserves below "ZERO" stars. I spoke with the director, Will, earlier this week about the transfer of my mom's body from VA where she died to NJ where most members of the family live. He quoted me a price and I made arrangements to visit his office to sign the contract. Lo and behold, when I called Will back yesterday to confirm the time I would be arriving to sign the contract, he abruptly advised me that he would not be able to handle the funeral arrangements for my mother. He gave no reason, other than to state that he had received a call from the funeral home in VA and did not wish to handle the arrangements. I do not know what he was told by the VA funeral home, nor would he divulge any further information to me. All of this despite the fact that my mother's funeral arrangements are fully covered by life insurance, and I am a NJ resident and legal professional. Since time was of the essence, I was left scrambling at the last minute to find another funeral home to handle the arrangements at a higher cost. Discriminatory treatment by this establishment??? I will be considering my legal options against this funeral home.
