About the restaurant: A player in the Collingswood dining scene, Nunzio is just a few minutes from downtown Philadelphia and well worth the trip. Designed to resemble a piazza in Italy, the BYO restaurant has stucco walls in a pale adobe color that suggests doorways and windows surrounding the main square.Food & Drinks: Chef Michael DeLone is putting his own stamp on the concept since taking over from founding chef Nunzio Patruno. Start your dinner with the chef's silken, homemade potato gnocchi, served with prosciutto and truffle cream. Then choose from secondi such as roasted salmon, braised veal shoulder or duck with roasted squash risotto. Bring your best Barolo and enjoy. For a light finish, try the tiramisu.
