I had a passport appointment for my 2 kids at the Middlesex Post Office. When I arrived, I was told that all appointments were cancelled, however I did not receive an email that my appointment was cancelled. I asked the man where else I could go to get this done and he told me to “Google it”. I was very unhappy with the whole experience and his attitude. I did in fact “Google it” and I found that the Dunellen Post Office takes walk-in’s for passports Tuesday-Thursday. It was Friday, but I thought I’d give it a try anyway. When we walked in we were told that there were no walk-in appointments on Fridays. I asked where I could go, and the 2 girls offered several suggestions. I then told them about my experience at the Middlesex Post Office and how I took off work, picked my daughter up early from school, and had my 20 year old son leave work to get these passports done. TYCHIC looked at us and said after hearing our story she would do it for us!!!! She saved the day and I could not appreciate her more. It was so nice of her to do it for us, and she was very helpful and professional. From now on, I will be going to the Dunellen Post Office because of my wonderful experience working with TYCHIC. Thank you again TYCHIC!!!!

Unprofessional staff and dismissal of inquiries pertaining to I’m mediate business, i.e. stamps, money order, and shipping cost.
Female claim supervisor said do you want it or not? If not get out of the way and get out if you do not want to pay the cost of the money order after inquiring of the fees.
Not courteous to other patrons after asking them whether or not they spoke English and understood what they were saying.

I came here to do my passport application and passport pictures and it was a very seamless experience! Tychic was the agent who helped me and she was incredible! She was so professional, kind, and efficient!! I strongly recommend this location for any of your passport needs! Just come well prepared and they will take good care of you!

Worst usps location!! Those 3 lady employees need to be audited for work they just sit there and talk, i need to take out my passport went there on walk in time but they said we are busy and can’t take you !! And the next minute they started talking to each other! Lazy employees doing nothing and taking tax payers money!!

The reviews here are skewed in my humble opinion. I had to mail a package last Saturday (4/5/2025). There were two African-American women on shift around the 1pm time slot. Customer service was top tier and they were very pleasant in accomodating my needs as well as my additional inquiries about the package I was sending off.

I would give it 0 stars if I could, the Black lady has the worst attitude. She is very hostile and rude. Terrible customer service; I will never come back.

MULTIPLE times my packages have NOT been picked up after scheduling package pickups, but I’ll receive an email that they were picked up. Front desk staff also have an attitude like they hate their job and you’re inconveniencing them by asking them to do anything.

They should change the staff here, a person of Afro-American descent with curlers is very disrespectful, she should not work here because she does not have the experience to serve customers, she is very rude and haughty
