STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK IF YOU ARE A MINORITY OR BE PREPARED TO BE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. My name is Isiah and I went to the branch on 4/20/23 and I was never experienced such racism. Manager Angelos stated that they are closing my account because “it didn’t make sense”!! I went into the branch to get help setting up my online banking and I was told my account is closing because it didn’t make sense. He created a hostile and uncomfortable environment. He belittled me and I feel like it was racially motivated. I am a registered nurse at the hospital 10 minutes away, yet I was treated poorly because I look different. It’s 2023 and there is no room for racism. The manager Angelos was very rude, nasty, and was extremely aggressive. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH. I guess he thought because I am African American I would respond to him poorly, NO, he was wrong, I handle hostile situations professionally. I think Connect One bank should have its employees take a course on racial equality. Again, it’s 2023, There is no more room for racism and judging people based on how they look.

Branch staff are extremely personable and friendly. They are always going above and beyond. I have never had an issue with any of the staff here. Plus they have coffee :)

Walk into this branch and be prepared to feel DISCRIMINATED. I would even say RACIALLY.Denied banking account service for no valid reason. Bank rep. named Maria initially asked inane questions prior to opening account.After seeing my address she asked, "Why are you coming to this bank (Englewood Cliffs) when there are closer banks.?"It went disrespectfully downhill from there. Maria proceeded to scrutinize my business affairs for opening an account.Maria used words such as "We are a big bank...." making a customer feelvery unwelcomed to use their services.If you are such a big bank then good luck growing with this type of business practice.I noticed her colleagues leaving the area as she asked more questions.No Witnesses to make you feel very uncomfortable.Unprofessional!DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BRANCH!

ConnectOne has been my bank for years especially this location. I've always had a great experience at this location and I have never ran into any issues with them. They have renovated recently and the upgrade is great!

I've been a customer of ConnectOne Bank since day 1 when it took over Union Center National Bank. I have to admit, I am definitely NOT a fan of the online banking system and I hope someone at the bank with influence is reading these reviews so they could realize what people are saying and do something about it! I do want to recognize Ms Taursha Eatman who works in their Five Points (Union branch). I visited the branch this weekend to close a CD. She went the extra mile to retain my business by rate matching an interest rate offer I found at a different bank and she was actually able to improve the term I was looking for by 1 month! Saved me a trip to that other bank and I am so grateful for it! Thank you Ms Eatman!!

Horrible Bank! It's not so much the retail staff, It has everything to do with the idiotic executive management. When I had to complain about the manager in Union, (because he does nothing!) the managers said they are very sorry about my experience in their branch and they did nothing! The man still works there! He is horrible, I tried to open up 6 business accounts with him and come to find out he has someone else doing his work because he did not know how to open an account! I needed these accounts opened promptly (within a week). He dragged his feet the whole time! DO NOT BANK HERE! Terrible customer service and terrible management.

Moronic staff, who have to repeat their stupid slogan when they answer the phone; must be terrible to work there. Horrible bank, right down to their absurd hold music and awful computer interface. Loan officer expected butt-kissing, which I declined to perform. Run away!

My company uses this bank. Only bank I've ever known that will refuse to cash your check even if their name on your pay check. Very unwelcoming and cold feel. No greeting by anyone when I came in.
