I did not stop in anthropology to shop. That was my original intention until I realized I had left my phone in an Uber. Thank goodness I chose to go in to anthropology. I wish I had gotten the name of the lady who helped me, but she did everything in her power to help me, despite the fact that she was working. I truly appreciate that. She called taxicab companies – none of which answered. She offered me a few suggestions and told me how to get to the security office. This woman is someone anthropology can be very proud of. I cannot thank her enough for her help.

During my visit, I brought a dress to the register that was tagged with a price of $19.95. When I inquired about it, the associate informed me that the tag was incorrect and that the item had been mispriced. She refused to honor the tagged price, stating it was an error.
What was most upsetting, however, was the way I was treated throughout the interaction—especially in front of my child. The associate was visibly tense, appeared disheveled, and spoke to me in a curt and dismissive manner. Her tone and demeanor were inappropriate and unprofessional.
After leaving the store, I called the location to speak with a manager. During the call, the same associate took the phone and continued the discussion. Eventually, she apologized and said she would honor the tagged price. Unfortunately, by that time, I did not want to enter that energy again.
Following the incident, I looked up reviews of this location and was surprised to find that another customer had posted a nearly identical complaint—describing poor treatment in front of a child and unprofessional customer service. This suggests a pattern of behavior that should be addressed.
This was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. It’s not what I expect from a brand like Anthropologie. I left the store feeling disrespected and embarrassed, and it has made me question whether I will continue shopping with your brand in the future.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and use it to improve the customer experience in your stores.

I allowed this location to order a pair of pants for me that they did not have in my size. The pants arrived in an unsanitary manner and entirely coated in some sort of hair. The store manager appeared disheveled and was rude and unhelpful with the exchange and in front of my small child. They would not order a replacement from another store and told me to call myself. They also would not order a timely replacement and would not offer any sort of accommodation for the delay or lack of hygiene despite the premium pricing for the pants. This location is clearly willing to tolerate poor hygiene and unsanitary product with rude customer service. At the very least, the staff requires further training in customer service and the warehousing needs better logistics for returns and damaging out items, particularly at the price point.

Exceptional staff here, always smiling and very helpful in the dressing room. I was there today and Leanna could not have been more helpful!
Eclectic clothing options and good basic tees and jeans make this a place to find a cool outfit that will stand the test of time.

My daughter and I were in the store for over an hour. Not one sales person asked if we needed help. I had clothes and dishes in my hands and still no one offered to put merchandise behind counter. I saw several women with handful of clothes and they weren't helped either. The sales person at checkout was friendly. Employees were too busy arranging clothes and putting new clothes out. Customers should be first priority!!!
