Every time I clicked on Glatt 27, I got the screen that wanted my zip code and couldn't get around it to the store itself. I needed info about Shabbat dinners.

All of the staff behind the counters and registers are not jewish. I wanted to get a shiva basket, and the man behind the deli counter called it a “shitter basket” while looking at me with a smirk. When I finally did manage to find a manager, all he could do is give a big sigh.

The food is expensive but the quality is high. Items found here i can't find other places in Central New Jersey so it's worth it to me.

Very wide variety of kosher foods, deli items and ready made take out delicacies. A really well run store.

The store has primarily two components: groceries and ready made food. It is a kosher supermarket so understandably the prices are not low. I do feel, however, that for some things they are exorbitant, for no reason. Ready made food is hit or miss. Some things are good, others barely edible. Regardless, if you are health conscience this is not a place to take out food from. Selection of kosher products is pretty good, especially for a relatively small store. Overall: with little to no competition for Kosher markets, Glatt 27 is alright, but charges too high prices due to lack of competition.

Since there aren't many kosher markets around this area, choices for the consumer are few. There are some nice workers in there but for the most part they simply don't give a damn. The owners are awful and disrespectful. I have had rancid cold cuts and lousy sandwiches because they do not care. The meat is fine except for the cooked foods which are terrible. I spend 300 a week there and when I brought back an unsealed horseradish without the receipt they refuse to exchange. I will be going to Aaron's in West Orange where they treat me like a human being and they are proud of their dishes.
