The Shepard is capable of delivering a powerful message that'll have me jumping out of my seat with the spirit of the lord riding in my ears. However .I'm concerned about it seems our church is being EXPLOITED just to get our Shepard in a powerful POLITICAL POSITION. It behooves me how and why all these sororities are invited to our church 400 strong not to join or support our many causes . But only to uplift the pastor. We couldn't find a seat due to the overcrowding of people whom we only seen there once. None joined. Then it's the prosecutors probation parole police and the entire Fire department. Again none of us had a seat in our own church. He praised the MAYOR as usual was given a photo shoot by the city for endorsement of the MAYOR to Governor position and again I ask myself who benifits from this except for the pastor who works with these people and get healthy praise when he returns to work on Monday?? But what about ST JAMES?? I TRIED SPEAKING TO THE DIRECTOR ABOUT A RECENT THREAT ON MY LIFE DUE TO A VIOLATING OF A RESTRAINING ORDER. HIS PROSECUTORS SAID SO WHAT IF A MAN VIOLATES iN A 12 STEP MEETING ??. EVEN THE WORLD SERVICE OBEY THE LAW BY STATING IN AN IP PAMPLET THAT IF A MEMBER HAD A TRO AGAINST HIM from ANOTHER MEMBER THAT MEMBER MUST LEAVE IF SO ORDERED BY THE COURTS. SUCH Is THE CASE WITH ME. MY SHEPARD SAID HIS DIRECTOR DONT LISTEN TO HIM . I WENT TO SPEAK WITH THE PROSECUTORS OFFICE. SHOWED THE DIRECTOR PICTURES HE TOOK AT CHURCH. HE RAN AWAY GIVING ME THE COLD SHOULDER. SO AGAIN IM LEFT WONDERING WHO BENIFITS WHEN OUR PASTOR LIKES BEING A BIG SHOT?? HE DID ASSURE US THAT IF WE SURRENDER INSIDE THE CHURCH WE WONT GET THE POLICE BEAT DOWN. WOW. MY CHURCH MAY AS WELL BE A PRECENT. OR IF YOUR RUNNING FOR OFFICE OR YOUR A JUGGE DOCTOR OR LAWYER YOU TOO CAN BE A BIG SHOT AT ST JAMES. HE DONT DO COUNSELOR SESSIONS ETHER. HE HAS Suggested THAT I SHOULD FIND ANOTHER CHURCH THAT AN UNEDUCATED PERSON SUCH AS MYSELF WOULD BE A BETTER FIT. That suggestion came from the pastor
ST. JAMES. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR SO CALLED PASTOR.

Money hungry. Prosperity preaching. This used to be a good church but I see right through them now, especially when Covid started. They only care about their members if they know they’ll be getting paid for it. Terrible. Why can’t others see this?

Love this church! I joined St. James A.M.E. a few years ago. The Pastor does an excellent job of delivering the Word of God in a way that can be applied to daily life. My experience has been that the congregation and ministers in the church are friendly, helpful, and supportive. St. James does a lot of outreach in the community and they have a great program/ministry for children.
