Maybe we should all stop buying medicine from CVS. They sell made in India pills at top dollar. There are multiple reports out there that there is no quality control at Indian factories and in many cases impurities cause cancer. Always check where your pills are made and demand the ones that are made at reputable factories and locations that stick to the standards.

It pains me to give any business a one star review. This rating is not directed to the staff but CVS as a company. It’s shameful to allow a business to fail at providing at least decent service because it’s so grossly understaffed. I watch the pharmacist and staff scramble to help patients. They cannot keep up with volume, no one can safely take care of the amount of orders they are receiving. That CVS branch NEEDS highly experienced staff and lots of them. The girl pharmacist is so sweet and kind. She has gone above and beyond for my family, I wish I remembered her name. I can only imagine these employees going home and just feeling overwhelmed. We as patients only see our own inconvenience…. The issue is the company not these people trying to service us. Sure, they can be kinder, so can we. They are stressed from all of us being nasty towards them. My comment will probably get lost in the sauce but I hope someone in corporate reacts and helps this location. Not by punishing the employees but supporting them and giving them what they need.

The staff and pharmacist here are absolutely some of the worst people I’ve ever had to deal with. I would drive an hour away just to not deal with this place.

Honestly don't understand the negative reviews. Got my vaccine here and it was pretty seamless. There was even someone near the front who greeted me when entering the store.

The survey on my receipt site address asked, "What can we do to improve?" Nothing since you can cannot improve on perfection. Rianne helped me check out cuz I started at the self checkout register and got a little confused with cashing in my rewards bucks so she helped me with the entire sale and she was so pleasant about it and smiling. When I was done she was helping another customer the same way. She's just a really nice woman.

I had accidentally called the prescriber line as they make it almost impossible to reach someone at the pharmacy. Spoke to someone by the name of Lana. BEYOND RUDE. I was scolded because of calling the wrong line when I had no problem with being put on hold and transferred if she was busy. I had called because my prescription has yet to come in and they insisted everyday i keep calling back to check if they have it in and wait to see if they can give me a location that has it. This should have been done from the beginning and they should have had it transferred to their location when they realized they didnt have it. Instead I have now been waiting 6 days since the time a refill was ordered. I had to call customer service to actually get help in the matter considering the rude woman, Lana was dismissive and did not help whatsoever just to find out they literally have my medication at the pharmacy next door. Absolutely unacceptable how they handled the situation and how I was spoken to today when I should not have to go to this length to get my medication that I never had a problem getting before.

CVS PHARMACY at Bergen town center paramus, is the worst pharmacy in the state of NJ.I am very sad and disappointed at a pharmacy who does not care about their patients!!Please I request all ,to change to a pharmacy who will answer your calls when you or your loved one needs a medicine !!This place is very sad!!!

I was told I had an hour wait to pick up my meds, but I ended up getting to the pharmacy 20 minutes early. The woman who helped me couldn’t have been more accommodating about it. I’d also forgotten that the pharmacy closes for break at 2pm, but the woman worked fast and efficiently to make sure I received my medication beforehand. She did not have to do that, but she did and I am grateful that I was met with excellent service. I hope the other pharmacy employees emulate the same work ethic and attitude.

Store associate was very quick to help with my return and purchase. He called store manager and he resolved my issue very fast. I was very pleased how they handled everything. Kudos to them!

Updated review from May 2023:It pains me to write this update but service is now abysmal. I wait 20-30 mins each call. Yesterday I was on hold over 57 minutes when calling for an important medication for a severe allergic reaction only to have the call answered and hung up on. A medication that was sent 6 hours earlier... 6 pills took the entire day to fill and still is not filled. I'm laying in bed checking the time this place opens to try and call again and reading other bad recent reviews. This is just one recent example. I want to support the staff, the few people I knew for over a decade that work there are good people but I'm not sure what it is. The head pharmacists seem to have higher turn over. The pharmacy is massively overworked, understaffed and you can physically see the medications overflowing the shelves. They are slammed every minute of every day, and I can sympathize. This place never recovered from COVID workplace stress. Having said that as a patient for such a long time something has to change for me to remain here. I am at a point where the quality of service is not worth staying here. Please do better, hire more people or replace management. The ship is sinking. The saddest part is my insurance would cover 100% of the minute clinic urgent care services for any CVS here but I never would even attempt to use them at this location.I would maybe suggest trying ShopRite just nextdoor, they seem to answer the phones quickly.Old review:Great service, go above and beyond for pharmacy customers

The workers here are really rude and they don’t know what they’re are doing. I went to go pick up my daughters medication earlier today. They told me to come back in a hour and by that time the medication would be ready. I came back after 3 hours, expecting to receive the medication that my daughter was supposed to start today. Instead, when I came back, they told me to pick up the medication the next day. I was furious since I had work the next day and I didn’t have the time of day to do so. Their time management is clearly lacking and awful. They aren’t responsible and they clearly don’t pay attention.

I hate this garbage pharmacy so much. I always have to bring my medicine back because they never give me the right number of pills. The workers are very lazy, and they refuse to answer the phone. It's a total joke. This is place is 5 minutes from home. I actually drive a half hour to another pharmacy because this one is so bad.

How are you on the phone with me, you know who I am, because you verified the information and the phone call drops and you don’t call back!!! Then I’m waiting for 39 minutes and it goes to an inbox voicemail. How unacceptable for a customer service based business!
